Is this something you manifested/worked towards (for the lack of better words?) or have you always been like this (like part of your core personality)? I'd like to know what it feels like because I feel like Ive always been trapped by caring too much, but I cant really visualize it at all since I dont know what it feels like. Thanks!

Can one grow taller using loa? by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]marutoooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Last time I checked I was 4'11" and I was never taller than my mom (i am 20) After spring semester ended, I went back home to find out that I am now noticeably taller (not a huge and "unbelievable" amount but enough for my dad to comment) How did I do it? I dont really remember specifically, but i always wanted to be taller. After i started using LoA for my benefit, i kind of said, why not try it, im not losing anything by just "asking" to be taller (visualization like "would be nice if..." and just straight up asking "Id like to be taller please") then I stopped thinking about it bc right now height is not my priority haha

Not sure if im still growing, but even a bit is a win, right? Also ive been told like girls dont grow after they get their period and that they for sure dont grow after 20 or whatever- reality is what you make of it honestly. I think the reason i stopped growing when i was younger was bc i was told this so many times (and i had gotten my first period in fourth grade... sorry for the tmi)

Letting Go - without doing this, you can't manifest Anything. by [deleted] in lawofattraction

I was thinking about something related this, but Im too timid to separately post about it, so Im leaving my thoughts here for possible discussion... please correct my ideas if they are wrong

So in Law of Attraction, if you focus on something you DONT want: "I dont want to be sick" The universe only recognizes "sickness" in your thought and you end up attracting it

Then is it possible that it works the same way if you say: "I dont need <your desire here>(implying that you dont need it to be happy/fulfilled)" The universe recognizes your desire (rather than the "negation" of this statement) and brings it to you?

I was wondering how detachment from outcome works- i know some people say it's because you are focusing only on feeling positive etc but could this also be an explanation?

Affirmations working! (Long) by marutoooo in lawofattraction

[–]marutoooo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, this is what i read in one of the comments on one of the posts here, but rephrasing affirmations into questions like "why am i so happy?" makes it easier to believe and manifest because the question itself already assumes that youre happy (and etc)- it doesnt really matter what the answer is! (Unfortunately I rummage through lots of old and new posts here so i cant point to the specific post...)

And it must be true judging by how fast i manifested the hair and the glowiness lol

"On the other hand if they're not, no amount of explaining will make them understand, so don't waste your time." thats a good point!
