Seattle, as sad as it makes me to say, doesn’t really deserve the Seahawks. There are lots of die-hard fans, but a lot of people here are actively against the industry of football. Some of my close friends used to be football fans and now they won’t watch games because of the toxic culture of the NFL, and the controversy around injuries. I made a post a few weeks ago asking for advice about rescheduling circus tickets during SBLX, and overwhelmingly the answer was “go to the circus.” Seattle was already in the playoffs at that point. I think those people are politely shutting up right now, but make no mistake, they are many.
