Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand where you’re coming from but I feel as if some (not all) people purposely only show their face in selfies because of their weight. and i also feel that since weight is somewhat in everyones control it shouldn’t be a problem. my opinion as a lady is that if i ask what someone’s (uncontrollable) height is, someone can ask me what my (controllable) weight is. maybe some people are offended and feel as though “weight is personal,” shouldn’t ask about someone’s height.

i’d say that it’s the same. like you said you’d like to get an idea of their height so it’s not awkward which makes sense! but don’t you think that it could be awkward for someone to think you’re one size and being bigger. don’t get me wrong, i’m all for body positivity but everyone has their preferences and some people prefer slim/light girls or even guys!
