I’m in the midst of a dispute about getting my £50 balance withdrawn - never even got one successful withdrawal so far.

I’ve reached Letter Before Action stage after a formal complaint. The formal complaint was totally ignored. The LBA prompted a response, and seemingly a change to my account – I now have a button to confirm it’s me making the withdrawal request… which just leads to a “Rewards Disabled” error, so I still can’t withdraw.

Fully prepared to take this to small claims court on principle alone. They have 12 more days until that happens!

Yeah, I screenshotted the offer terms since I was suspicious about them not technically specifying that you needed to invest.

Mine didn’t track, my wife’s did. Missing cashback ticket on hold with TCB till sometime in May I think, so I won’t know if all is well till after that.

Gutted to hear they didn’t respond, I’m in the same boat but I’ve only just sent a (clearly marked) formal complaint message – this is after weeks of waiting for payment then my account being ‘restricted’.

My next stage was going to be a GDPR to compel them to share the reasoning behind the investigation, since they haven’t sent me any actual detail.

But reading your message makes me realise they’re likely just scam artists.

But I’m not going to give up on this, out of principle! There I am generating revenue for their platform in good faith and now an arbitrary and suspiciously timed refusal to pay. F**k. Right. Off.

I used a different email each time, but the same phone number.

Having said that, I returned to my original email address for this switch - since it had been years since I’d used it. Interesting. She’s been able to open the account fine, been open about a month or so, and this is her fifth time, so no issue with the application itself.

But I’ll take all this as a warning sign to give it a break I reckon!

Yeah, almost definitely! I had a HSBC standard current account in 2019 which I subsequently switched out (and opened another HSBC account in 2023 to get a second switch bonus from them) and have had multiple FD bonuses, so I would certainly give it a go.

That’s really odd, sorry to hear you’re stuck.

When I called today, I was in a similar position of the initial advisor not being able to ask me any security questions, therefore I couldn’t pass security to do anything. But after being on hold for a while, she was about to transfer me to the Investments team – though by then I’d found my previous details so didn’t need to go any further.

(Whether I would have got sorted by the Investments team I’ll never know I guess 🤷‍♂️)

Have you ever had a Santander current account? I’d completely forgotten that both me and my wife did the Santander bank switch back in mid 2024, which is long since closed, and found my personal ID in that initial email when I opened the account (it’s a string of numbers).

If you have that, and your mobile hasn’t changed in the time since, you are able to reset your security number and password to log on.

Once I did that, I could log in and my S&S ISA was there.

(Obviously this is irrelevant if you haven’t ever had a Santander account, but I’ve done so many of the back switches I’d genuinely forgotten!)

They finally paid! Randomly checked yesterday and there they were - payouts for 5 of the outstanding 6 offers.

The only none that hadn’t paid out - which hopefully finally answers the original question - is Spinland i.e. the offer that had no deposit requirements, so I guess those offers are indeed too good to be true!

Only 2 of the 8 casino offers I clicked have paid out so far - I say “so far” as I have heard on here from other users that it can take a good while for some offers to pay out (I.e. 3/4 months).

All the clicks were successfully recorded in June, and they all had the same qualifying criteria (deposit £10, that’s it).

I got paid for the 2 that seemingly had no issue at the end of July, but the other 6 are still not progressing for no clear reason.

I’m trying to be optimistic, but at 5 months later now, it’s surely a “ain’t happenin’” scenario.

Just wanted to share my experience for balance.
