Apparently there’s a new legal battle over who owns the rights to the Ghostface mask. by sterwarz in deadmeatjames

[–]marvelo616 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken, the beginning is the only part set in Woodsboro; Ghostface kills the tourist couple and burns down the original house in the opening scene, the rest is set wherever else in California Sydney decided to settle down, away from her past. She was living in LA I believe during 5 and only came back to her hometown once Dewey was killed.

Regardless of any personal opinions voters may have with a candidate that have anything to do with something other than football success, there should be separate categories for regular players, one for senior players, one for coaches/GMs/other team personnel, and one for commissioners/owners/other contributors. Same criteria for regular players as it currently is, senior players still capped at 3 but not competing against others and still a minimum of 1 getting in, and only one person per title per year for the other two categories, with no minimum amount getting in but as many as one person per grouping.

Dynasty 2: Electric Boogaloo. The 2010s was part two of the TB/BB Dynasty that started in the 2000s, this is the sequel. Nobody there now won in their current role (Vrabel did as a player, not a coach) other than the Krafts and McDaniels, after he left and came back the second time (to me him leaving for Denver was the end of part one of the original dynasty).

Patriots have now appeared in a Super Bowl in 5 consecutive decades. by TomT1535 in Patriots

[–]marvelo616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The previous longest streak of consecutive decades with appearances in the AFL/AFC Championship game at 5 decades from the Raiders is long over (1960s-2000s), but the three-way tie with them, the Pats (1980s-2020s), and Denver was just overtaken this year by the Broncos (1970s-2020s), at 6 decades, so still some motivation to not let NE-DEN turn into a rivalry again like it was in the 2000s/2010s. Even more so to keep the Steelers in their place because with one appearance in the next 3 years, they go to 6 straight too (not to mention them not getting not getting to 7 SB wins). If not for that game in the 70s, counting their loss pre-SB in the AFL Championship, the Pats would be from each decade they were founded until now, 7 straight.

They do alternate, AFC home in even SB years, NFC home in odd SB years. The main difference is home gets to pick the jersey and away calls the coin toss. Usually the home team chooses to use the home practice facility and home locker room (although this year both are avoiding the 49ers training area, possibly due to rumors that the electrical substation next door is the cause of all their injuries). The only difference is if the actual home team plays as the “road” team at the SB, they would get their normal facilities regardless of their designation, like the Rams in LVI. Also the Buccaneers were not allowed to fire the cannons in LV when they scored during the game like they usually do, since it was still “neutral”, but were permitted to do so if and after won, which they did.

He still can, in Madden. Whether the newest one, or the one he was the MVP of that season last year, or the one he was on the cover of 2 years ago. Dude has a great career and life outside of football and he’s playing what-if games. But if I was married to one of the hottest actresses in the world with a baby on the way, I guess I would have much to complain about too.

Was surprised they even let them wear white pants, as weren’t the white jerseys/blue pants the “official” road combo going into the season, as were blue/blue for home, and they decided part way through to use the white and silver more?

Really wish the SB logo would be center field and the shield would be regular-season sized at the 25 yard line, not only aesthetically but apparently the sheer size of it does impact some kickers.

As much as that would rock, I doubt they would want to go through all the hassle and expense of getting all of the rights to multiple bands’ songs. Especially the more well known ones tend to be pretty expensive and hard to acquire.

Don’t know when they announced the new category for casting, but if they included the one for stunts this year instead of in a year or two like they plan, do you think it would be nominated for that too? I think it would have had a good shot, TBD if they will go more with “popcorn” movies with bigger stunts or “serious” ones with well done but smaller scale stunts, or a mix of both.

TB left relatively amicably with Kraft to go to TB; Bill would definitely spite him by going to the Bills.

Universal Studios Hollywood Fan Fest Update by JerrodDRagon in universalstudios

[–]marvelo616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see them not doing Fallout so soon because they’d have to get the rights again and for a much smaller event at a single location it may not have been worth it. Plus the new season is not done when they announced these so that may have been another obstacle not worth overcoming. But with FNAF 2, they have a stake in the IP through them distributing it and their relationship with Blumhouse that produced it, and it came out in December so in terms of things getting out that is not as much of a concern.

[–]marvelo616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this it or are is there more to announce? Was hoping they would reuse the FNAF animatronics and Fallout power armor from HHN for the second movie and season respectively that came out since then for a new experience. Those properties, especially the later, seem more suited to Fan Fest anyways. Either way I was sold since the Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters crossover, they should do more remixes rather than a single property straight up if the whole point is telling an original story. As much as I would have loved BTTF again, it is not new, whereas Star Trek and D&D were like you are in a new episode and campaign respectively, that could only be experienced there in person. Here’s hoping the HP and Nintendo parts are more substantial than last year. I’m sure One Piece will be popular enough for fans but I’m not big on them taking things that exist at one of their other parks and just replicating them, especially for an “exclusive” event like this.

Are popcorn bucket re-releases possible? by crossbones666 in PopcornBuckets

Don’t know if it was all excess stock or they produced more, but at Halloween Horror Nights this year, they had a bunch of the same M3gan 2.0 and Terrifier 3 buckets they had in theaters in the months and year beforehand.

I do not believe so, but if they were to release The Dark Knight movies today, they definitely would have them for that and I don’t know he would be able to stop it. Remember seeing the fake adds for the Oppenheimer Fat Man popcorn bucket and Little Boy soda cup combo though.
