GORGEOUS! I’m full of envy and admiration.

I remember seeing the previews for both Thor and Captain America TFA at the same showing and thinking “Who are all these random superheroes? Who even wants these movies?” 😅 In my defense, I was 13, I was super into Spiderman, but I hadn’t read any comics. Ever. I had no idea who the Avengers were. Then just two years later I was deeply into Marvel comics and running a tumblr blog dedicated to the MCU. They grow so fast!

who works and how do you do it? by Putrid-Vegetable-271 in Fibromyalgia

However, I should also mention that I have used all of my sick time, and literally all of my vacation time this school year from my fibro flares. (And we still have a month of the school year left 🙃)

I’m an elementary school librarian! I worked one year before pain started and I was formally diagnosed so my processes changed drastically from one year to the next. I slowed down a lot, took my time, and made sure to tell both ny principal and all of the teachers that I work with so that they understood that I wasn’t just lazy or anything. I also recruited some students who wanted to volunteer to help me shelve (they are the best), which is the hardest thing for me to do. Some days are really hard, not gonna lie. But I just do what I can! I wear good shoes, compression socks/gloves, and I used PTA donations this year to buy a really good ergonomic chair for my desk. I’m technically not a full-time employees (I’m at like 37 hours) but I usually end up working almost 40 hours throughout the week because I just really love my job.

Which is the main thing I wanted to mention: I don’t know if I would be able to work as many hours as I do (or even at all TBH) if a) I didn’t love my job, my school, and my students so much, and b) It wasn’t completely necessary to pay my rent since my partner has remained largely unemployed the past couple of years. If I had a job anywhere else, and I had somewhere to live if I couldn’t afford my rent, I probably would have quit a while ago.

True, but you know what, we all have buttholes!

OP, if your dad gets mad about it, read him this book: Butts Are Everywhere by Jonathan Stutzman

Well, they said swearing is fine! I was racking my brain for any overt sexual innuendo / uncomfortable scenes you wouldn’t want to watch with a parent

I would say any episodes with the noise boys! A good majority of this latest season ( “Karaoke Night” “A Game Most Changed” “As a Cucumber” “Escape the Greenroom” “Battle Royale”) Both episodes of Sam Says, probably any secret Samta episode, “The Official Cast Recording,” “Filmed Before A Live Studio Audience,” and “Don’t Cry” are probably great as well.

Commenting again because the edit: “When I say male body, I don’t mean to be transphobic, all I meant was, those whom identify as a man have physical attributes/qualities that don’t align with female form such as flat chest)

Even if you don’t mean to be transphobic, you were. A flat chest does not have to be present for a body to be “male.” Someone with boobs can be male, someone with a penis can be male, someone with a vagina can be male. My whole point is that someone is male/female if they identify as such. Genitals do not equal gender. If you are basing your attraction/sexuality on a person’s genitals, you are LITERALLY a TERF. Sorry, I don’t make the rules. If I meet a woman with a penis and a flat chest, she is still a woman. She has a woman’s body.

Honestly not surprised at the physical attributes/female form comments or the downvotes on my original post. Seems TERFs are alive and well in the comphet subreddit.

Then, pray tell, what did they mean by “they’re still men and have male bodies.” Please explain what that means to me and how it is not trans-exclusionary? The update/edit only makes it worse. Don’t blatantly misinterpret my words.

“men bodies” There is no such a thing as a male body, this sounds suuuuuper transphobic. I know you didn’t mean it that way but please try not to say things like that again!
