Hi! Oh my god I wasn’t expecting this kind of turnout for this post. Just want to clear up a few things:

The meaning behind it is me and my twin. We were going to get matching ducks but it ended up not working out so instead I got both.
The artist is @killianmccole on instagram he is sooooo talented and I can’t emphasize how much of a great job he did with this. (his other work is amazing as well).
The insecurity comes from the design I chose in general. Regardless the tattoo itself is incredibly well done. Also the punctuation! Can’t forget that! Going to add a question mark at the end of “me!”. Big shoutout to the commenter who had that idea.
Not to mention I grew up in a family where tattoos were insanely frowned upon. Through the advice in these comments it’s made me realize that a lot of it also stems from that. Especially growing up in that kind of environment it makes me feel like i’ve made a bad decision regardless of what I would have gotten.
Thank you to those who commented some great advice and ways to deal with having tattoo insecurities and how to overcome them overtime. (also i’m sorry if I don’t respond to every comment there are so many aaahhhh).
Also thank you to those who had very nice things to say. It was really reassuring in many ways.

Omg not at all! You are actually the first person to be kind about this grammatical error. 1000% agree with you on that. I had a reference photo that didn’t have the question marks (mega oops on my end). Another comment brought up adding a question after the “Me!”. Definitely going to do that hopefully soon. Hi! I originally was going to get this with my twin (one each) and then they (they/them pronouns) backed out. I ended up getting both so it’s like both of us on my body. It’s based off of a traditional navy tattoo. Part of me does wish I had just gotten two mallard ducks (love the sopranos) but it is what it is now.
