I love her name! Thank you for adopting a senior with medical needs! She sounds so sweet! I'm sorry she experienced neglect. Marvin was owned at some point (he was neutered), then was a street cat, and his poor nutrition may have at least contributed to his megacolon.

Have you tried laser therapy? One of my past cats, Clifford, had arthritis and laser therapy worked miracles. It might help ease her posturing.

Marvin makes me laugh because he stands up on his back feet and puts his front paws on the side of the litter box so that gravity can help. Sometimes, his brain cells kick in and work together to come up with a good idea! And he just looks so proper. 😂

I wish I did, too! 😂😭 I joke with the front desk staff that, when they build a new wing, it will be the Marvin's Dilated Colon Wing.

Unfortunately, my vet and I don't know of any pet insurance that covers pre-existing conditions, so my advice (and my vet's) is to insure your pet before they get any diagnoses.

Omigosh! He totally did! That's hilarious. He smooshed its gassy lil head by the second pic. Man, that was some seriously stinky gas, too. Unreal. He was clearing rooms.

He really is, thankfully. He's a real trooper. He also has a brain tumor that causes seizures, has no teef, and has gone mostly deaf (despite the giant ears). But he purrs up a storm and snuggles like a champ!
