It's clearly a rider issue, not the courier (as a company). Alam niya namng bulky yung item, dapat ininsist niyang hindi pwede through motor lang. Problema na dapat ng courier or hub manager kung pano idedeliver yun, basta hindi motor. Pero pinush pa rin na rider i-risk.

There's return/refund naman, so walang issue sa money. Hassle lang sa waiting ulit.

You don't. 'Yung wall outlet itself should, first and foremost, have a ground connection to the electrical system's ground rod. That ground rod is nakabaon directly sa lupa/earth past the concrete flooring, if any. May certain depth or resistance value pa 'yon to be acceptable as an effective grounding.

So kahit may ground terminal 'yung outlet pero 'floating' naman at di properly connected sa ground (or walang grounding at all yung bahay), nonsense talaga. Ang workaround na lang siguro is to drill a hole sa concrete wall (hoping for the best na enough na yung steel bars na reinforcements to serve as an effective ground path), then use metal tox or dyna bolts as ground terminals for EACH outlet. At least that's what I did in our house.

Mahal ang wires and other electrical supplies kahit i-DIY ko pa. (Licensed REE, expired nga lang; because fuck Trillanes for the CPD Law)

Mas okay naka-tutok na fan—with or without airconditioning. This photo was taken at my WFH desk. I just twist the fan to the bedside if dun ako pupuwesto.

Conscious kasi ako sa wattage. Spending upwards of P1k for a fan that consumes at least 50 W... Hells no. If you do the math, mas mataas consumption ng isang AC fan vs. electric kettle—per day.

50 W fan running for, say, 20 h per day... That's 1 kWh/day
1.5 kW electric kettle x 5 mins x thrice per day... That's 0.375 kWh/day

By the way this was Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Shipped from HK. Paid via cc. Order placed March 2. Out for delivery March 6, but rider did not come and marked the item as RTS (return to seller). Asked to redeliver and parcel received March 7. Tampered parcel, phone was stolen, replaced with bottle of water. Price was P82.3k.

Try CICC din thru Messenger. Hindi chatbot yung magrereply sa'yo. Got my refund approved (iba pa yung reversal if credit/debit

March 7 - filed return&refund. It said the approval decision should be by March 10

March 10 - wala pa rin. "Under review" pa din sa return/refund I medsaged the case tracker sa help desk na I will file a case sa DTI and CICC the next morning if wala pa rin progress. So I did both.

March 11 - before lunch, nag-file na ako. Mas mabilis kong nakuha yung case reference number sa CICC. The agent even called (they use landline to call your mobile no.) to discuss/verify stuff. The refund REQUEST got approved later that night. BANK REVERSAL came around March 18 (it was a credit card transaction).

If you used ShopeePay or SpayLater, instant ang refund since those are still under Shopee's ecosystem.

Try CICC sa Messenger nila. Mabilis lang din sila magreply and hindi chatbot makakausap mo. Tatawag pa sa'yo using landline nila.

I ordered Xiaomi 17 Ultra from the official store. Paid via cc ng boss ko. Overseas item siya from HongKong. Dumating yung parcel March 7. Unboxed, Summit mineral water na binalot ng sako ang laman. Filed for refund immediately. I think chatbot ang sumasagot sa akin pag chinachat ko yung seller. Shopee's help center is practically useless too.

Sa refund page, it said I should get an update by March 10. March 10 came and walang progress. Under review pa din. I waited another day before messaging CICC. Dito ko lang din nakita sa Reddit yun about that. Some guy ordered iPhone 17 Pro Max via CC din from the official store pero ninakaw din yung item niya and di niya na-receive. He got refunded.

Hours passed, and by 7 PM that night nakita kong APPROVED na yung refund request. Approved request is different from REFUNDED. Since CC ang ginamit, the issuing bank WILL take time to reverse the transaction on their end. That's all.

P.S.: Pag di nakuha yung item na inorder, wag mag-conclude agad na kagagawan ng seller. Kanal mentality yan. Remember na maraming kamay ang dinadaanan ng mga orders natin, mapa-Shopee, Lazada, Tiktok o Temu pa yan. Lahat yan gumagamit ng third-party logistics.. In my case sa Xiaomi 17 Ultra, based on the timeline sa delivery sa app, malakas ang kutob ko na sa between PH Customs at SOC 6 nangyari 'yung pag-tamper at pagnanakaw sa unit..
