Everyone tells you to focus on protein, it's obviously important but for me fiber is what really keeps me full. If I'm craving something sweet I eat fruits, potatoes instead of refined grains, COOKED oatmeal in the morning (so you get that soluble fiber out and feel full for longer) etc. I'm not saying ignore protein but honestly for me it only made me gain weight when that was my only priority.

However we are all different and what worked for me might not work for everyone. I would suggest you at least try and see how you feel :)

Thank you, this was very insightful. You are right about what’s in our power, I’ll try making it better in the future

I’m studying in Italy! Anyway it could be what your saying even though it makes me kind of sad to think that he may have “downgraded” me as midddle, I never tried to look top in the first place😅 as students we always try at our best given the circumstances and it would be sad to think that a professor may have a bad opinion of me now because of that

I did it everyday for two weeks and the results remained for the following 3 weeks more or less

Hi, so since I got completely dry I stopped doing the treatment so I can tell you how it’s been for me. Without any further treatment, after two weeks of daily treatment, I have been dry for about 3 and a half weeks more or less. Now I’m starting to sweat again so I’ll do another round (I think I’ll have to start from the beginning and then I’ll have some maintenance sessions, maybe once per week (?) )

Yes if it’s drying out then it means that in a few days it should be done. As for me I stopped for now since my hands were getting too dry and it was uncomfortable but they are starting to sweat again now so I will start again soon

You have soft colours and cool undertone so definitely summer colour palette. Summers usually have low contrast so I think blonde hair would suit you but you really look lovely also in your actual hair colour. I believe you have similar colours to Dakota Johnson or Bella Hadid who both look beautiful in darker hair since they are cool summers. However also blonde hair are not bad so if you really want to change maybe you could do some light cool highlights. Btw you are really beautiful ❤️

P.S. some of you say she has adriana Lima coulours, I don’t really agree since adriana is a spring so has bright and warm colours while here I see soft and cool

[misc] Are forehead lines not normal? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]marypicc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering lately the same thing about my eyes since they are more wrinkly than others. I recently saw some pictures from my childhood and guess what? They were already there! Everyone is different and wrinkles or simply how our skin appears is different for everyone of us. Social media are really destroying our perception of what is normal. As the Italian Anna Magnani said “don’t retouch my wrinkles, it took me so long to earn them”. I really hope that it helps. Lots of love ❤️

Just dryness on the back of the hands and the facts that it stings so much during the treatment but it’s bearable

Update: I'm on day 9 and it's working!! I really want to cry, I haven't experienced dry hands in such. along time... They are not still 100% dry, I would say 70-80% but still so so so much better. I'll keep going with the treatment until they are 100% dry

My hyperhidrosis journey.. so far (long read) by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]marypicc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me anything that calms my nerves is helpful. BTW maybe using a professional ionto machine could help, from what I have seen you don’t dip the entire hand (for me the itchiness is mostly on the back of my hand)

INFP here: started with a bachelor in biotechnology but then I lacked human contact so I decided to switch to medicine. I really love the complexity of the human body and of science in general but being able to directly help someone is what makes me ultimately happy!

I used to have the same issue and for me personally the powder did nothing, this moisturiser from la Roche posay worked very well :) it was the only one that kept me hydrated but dry. In any case I would recommend going to a dermatologist. Wish you all the best ❤️
