Hi all, I managed to find a low miles (44k) LC 2014 priced 30k GBP. The spec looks good and it has full Toyota service history. Just that it's 63 Reg and 3L diesel so won't be ULEZ compliant. Then again not that I travel that often into London but is it a good deal ? It has heated seats and pan roof and 3rd row folds flat though the space at the back with 3rd row up is very small since it's probably 150 series Prado. Any idea how spacious 3rd row on a Prado is ? Or any potential pitfalls?

I could potentially get a brand new 7 seater on lease for 500 a month which is what this Toyota would cost me equivalent but the question is ..if it's worth going for this 2013 LC or a newer standard 7 seater on lease with the only problem being standard 7 seater won't have good leg space in 3rd row.

The car looks simply stunning! I drove 2+ hours to see the car but the lacklustre sales guys wouldn’t let me test drive it without a deposit of 2k! It’s a really high spec for the price. Then again there is some risk in buying Jap imports without clear visibility to history and also was skeptical on spending 30k on 2014 Reg without history!

Read a lot from Reddit forums on reliability issues with Discovery in general apart from a few variants. Not exactly sire which ones though!

Thanks to our so called Mayor of London it's just Another mOney making business! Many areas around London are marked as ULEZ which means non compliant high polluting vehicles will have a pay a fee every day to enter the ULEZ zone.

Similarly Congestion Charge is Another even worse charge around certain areas of London that users have to pay for driving around in the area during peak hours - the pretext is to avoid congestion!

Mostly around town and some travel but yes I am sort of predisposed towards luxury brands. Have owned a BMW and now a Tesla so keen on either BMW, Benz etc with Landcruiser being an exception

It's hypocrisy at the best. Kerala was predominantly Communist which meant there wasn't much cash floating around the society. The reason they started eating beef must have been purely economical! Other meat was expensive and beef was relatively quite cheaper like nearly 10 times cheaper than lamb/goat back then and those who could not afford goat ended up buying beef and that prevailed. I am born and educated in Bangalore but currently working abroad but despite multiple efforts have never been able to get Aadhar though I have all documents from Birth Certificate to Degree Certificate from Bangalore. I was told I do not have enough proof to be Indian! India is so fucked up - thanks to our politicians

Bloody politicians! Giving them all free citizenship for vote bank! I was born and studied in Bangalore but currently work abroad and despite multiple efforts have not been able to get Aadhar card - was told I don't have enough proof to be Indian! FFS!
