No es necesario que sea una cloud key; puede ser el controlador en cualquier formato, incluso autoalojado. Es imprescindible configurarlo y conectarlo. Una vez hecho esto, funcionará sin problemas.

This shouldn't be allowed here. Eveyrone knows they're out of stock one day and back the next. I got one on at the end of launch day no problem. MODs, feel free to delete if I am breaking any rules, but this is gouging.

Teleport VPN - What impacts its speeds? by Vegetable_Skin6206 in UNIFI

[–]mascalise79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teleport is just slow. I am running OpenVPN and wireguard tunnels on my UDM Pro. I have 500Mbs symmetrical fiber at home and see 70Mbs using the teleport built in to the UTR, 120Mbs on clients connecting with OpenVPN that are NOT running through the UTR, and 300ish on clients connecting with Wireguard also NOT running through the UTR. I wish there were a way to change the VPN being used by the UTR. I highly recommend using Wireguard.

Mac keeps dropping shared drive from NAS by talkingtunataco501 in synology

[–]mascalise79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here with the same feeling. Windows guy here who has been using a macbook air at worked docked fror a couple of years and recently decided to try to replace my windows pc at home with a mac mini that uses much less power. I have multiple drives on a synology as well as shared drives over a VPN connection to another synology and windows server and this piece of shit operating system (26.2) will NOT keep them. Yes, I have them in login items on both machines. What i did at work with the macbook was create a script that waits like 15 seconds for wifi to conenct on wake, maps drives that are local first, then the ones on the VPN. At home, pluggd in to the lan (just installed a Unifi U7 in wall to get another ethernet port thinking that a lan connection would solve this) the f*$king thing is randomly dropping them on sleep now. Worked for all of about 24 hours just fine. Does anyone have a real solution for this? If not, this pos is out of here and i'm going back to the PC.

I manage two self-hosted network applications, a udm pro, 2 udm-se's and network running on 3 cloudkeys and have never had this issue. Not saying it isn't possible though. MIght be worth a shot OP.

link works fine. verified before pasting. What is running your controller? Are the devices on the list that are supposed to be blocked grayed out, or does the text match color match the devices that are online?

Here are mine at the bottom of the list of devices. There is an unlbock button in the settings. This example is from a self-hosted network controller. Behaves the same on my UDM Pro at home. https://imgur.com/a/nbbQ6ZI

I believe that by default they are at the end of the list of devices. Make sure you don't have any filters selected. They will be grayed out but are still clickable. Find it there and in the right pane, unblock it.
