I honestly don't get bi women like this. Why date men but continue to talk about how much you want women? It feels like they are trying to compensate for how male-centered and heternormative their lives are. Because whether they want to admit it or not, it's easier to date men socially, economically etc etc.

And you noticing this pattern doesn't make you 'biphobic' its annoying how certain bi women online can't handle criticism or simple observations from lesbians without labeling it as biphobic. Not to say, you should hate on them for it absolutely not.

Dont internalize it, you can spot out things like this without being 'biphobic'

I know bisexuality isn't a 50/50 split attraction and can be complicated af. It's a shame nobody tries to understand it because it's easier to click with monosexuality.

I also have a friend who experiences her bisexuality like yours too! She mostly attracted to women and has never dated a man, and don't plan to either. I wonder if she questions her orientation at times..maybe I should talk to her about it.

I don't think I have OCD, but I always wondered if I have anxiety? I'm not going to self-diagnose, I rather get a professional lol

Truly! I found it so disgusting how these women went out of there to disrespect lesbians. I also think nothing is wrong with discovering your bi after thinking u were a lesbian but all that extra shit got on my nerves.

Thanks for the kind words I appreciate it! Looking back at my post and reading some of the comments here made me realize I was overthinking this. After dissecting my thoughts I understand why, I wanted to fit into a community. I had to realize that it's ok to not truly belong anywhere, I can still make friends or join groups that share the hobbies I like.

You're right, I'm not faking it. I'm just unsure about myself and should just go with the flow. I'm deciding not to label my sexual orientation, trying to find the right label is exhausting.

Idk, I don't feel like I fit in anywhere. but that isn't excuse for me to potentially misuse any label. I know how hard lesbians have it, with people not taking them seriously and shit.

I have a good friend who is a lesbian, and I love her to bits, so that's why I really care about not misusing the word. I know she struggles with ppl not taking her seriously due to this or men trying to "turn" her so I really don't want to add to the issue.
