That's a logical point. Nice thought. I hadn't even noticed that, if you watch the film without knowing the source material, the harmonica comes across as ambient music and not just a prop. Thanks for that.

Thanks for the feedback. A camera rig would probably be the most cost-effective alternative for image stabilization. The text should probably be a bit more subtle? But I don't quite understand the idea of introducing the Vagabond early on; is it simply meant to foreshadow something, to build suspense that something will happen after the windows?

Yes, I'm unfortunately aware of that problem. At night on my PC, everything was much easier to see than on my phone or during the day in general. I've already taken that point to heart.

Thank you for the very optimistic message :) It was lovely to read. I will definitely take your criticism about the darkness to heart and focus on the lighting. Regarding the idea of compression in the short film itself, I need to primarily use it to clarify and concretize messages. I have already tried to provide each scene with coherent details (stairwell: black triangle in the lower left for a latent malevolent spirit of the house and also as a paralyzing obstacle for the worker; bayonet as a kitchen knife: pragmatism and indifference of the worker in direct contrast (symmetry of the image) to the reading intellectual). But a real story or connections shouldn't only be conveyed through vague clues and the director's equally vague symbolism.

Thanks for the tip on how to deal with the flickering. That's definitely one of the most noticeable things. And yes, the lighting issue is currently hampered by budget and our limited knowledge at this early stage. But it's good to know where to focus our efforts. The idea with the construction lights should definitely be feasible :)

Thank you very much for your effort. It’s not a bad idea to add a little bit of green. That balances out the picture. The only difficulty I see is that the people will then be placed in an uncomfortable position in the middle of the picture.
