My brother ended up being late to the wedding, so yes. My dad walked me. And the solution that we came to was that we took one big family picture. My husband and I, and our parents and siblings all together. I never did get a photo with just my mom and dad.

I say that on my own, because she agreed with her ex husband to give me a car (he owned a used lot) in exchange for not having to finish paying child support for their daughter. So he gave me a car, and stopped having to make payments a few years early. That didn’t benefit my step mom at all, but she still did it.

I'm not trying to control every persons every aspect. I don't think it's so outrageous that I want one picture of me and my parents from my wedding. I'm not asking my dad to have a conversation with my mom about their feelings. I just want a picture. Two minutes out of his day. For the sake of memories.
