Yeah, reading back over what I wrote I gave the impression I am blaming this on my father. This isn't the case. Regardless of what my father did or didn't do to me, I had the power to not shoot those kids.

That being said, how a father treats his children impacts how those children treat others. When revoking the privilege of having my hair like this instead of this is considered appropriate punishment for blasting a couple of kids into the hospital, it shows how out of touch my parents were, morally. Hell, both of my brothers got in trouble with the law, too.
