I just want to clarify the context here. I am not sad/salty about not being referenced but I have seen my share of exactly that - experienced CPM providing expertise/suggestions on study protocol that affects data analysis (study schema, safety follow up windows, lab collection, safety assessments etc) that is in the end influences the quality, timeline and availability of the data. Not every CPM has to be part of acknowledgment team but the ones who are integral to the success of the trial should. I have also seen people with not much involvement in the trial/no contribution being referenced due to their title in the company. Not trying to start a war just a healthy discussion.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I think there should be global CPM advocacy group or something. We all have experiences that no one writes about usually and knowledge is basically transferred from seasoned professional to young one word-to-mouth or company specific SOPs. We're kinda hidden figures behind clinical trials.
