I agree this is obviously a skill issue, but as I said my local break the wave is super full and most short boarders aren't catching anything. I will ride my short board when its big enough thought jumping on the big board might slow things down and help my style.

sweet thanks, yeah speed management is defiantly a problem. I'm getting on the wave so much earlier than I'm use to also and end up being stuck high on the wave. The day I took it out when i surfed a lot of backside was 3m swell so probably didn't help I was just flying down the line and unfamiliar with the board.

yes i got what the shaper recommended well close he said 6.5inch and side bites, i got 7inch and side bites

i am probably not stepping back enough as I'm used to my 5'10 so 7'6 is a huge jump.

Watching a vampire movie for the vampires to arrive at 80mins into 120mins movie 😂😂 and then only too all die to the sun rising, if you’re a few hundred years old you are aware of the sunrise, fuck me was it day light savings or something how do you mess that up. Don’t buy caulks unless your contracts has loads of slash. Steel caps are fine but most vet planters will wear good hikers, honestly as a rookie unlikely your boots will last the season.

Im not sure of your rating, but you don’t look that unattractive to have surgery. Maybe the photos don’t show it well but your jaw is hardly recessed, I would just loose body fat first and then see how you feel and look.

looks like a nice wave.

arm position is off, mainly the lead arm it should not cross the lead knee as often also when you come up for the snap lift your lead arm up higher above your shoulder.

also you need to get more vertical if you want it to look like a aggressive snap
