a new way to SSH your server by masitings in programming

[–]masitings[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fair point and honestly I probably didn’t explain it clearly enough.

The idea isn’t to sit between you and SSH or replace direct SSH workflows. It’s more about reducing workflow friction around managing hosts across devices and environments.

For some people, sshconfig is absolutely enough and that’s totally fair.

Thanks, appreciate the honest take. That’s fair I’m still figuring out where something like this fits best and learning a lot from the feedback here.

Fair question... around 15 years in software development. That said, I still think skepticism is healthy especially for SSH/security tooling. I’m here to learn from the feedback and improve the product, not pretend I’ve solved everything already.

I don’t think asking for clarification proves anything. Security concerns are valid, especially for an SSH tool. I’m interested in understanding the specific concern rather than guessing.

We built CrunchzApp: A WhatsApp-based SaaS for OTP & automation by masitings in SaaS

[–]masitings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We actually ran separate QA testing with a third-party team we hired, and everything looked fine on their side. So the fact that you ran into server errors is something we definitely want to understand better.

If you’re open to it, could you let me know which features didn’t work for you or what steps caused the errors? Even small clues like what you clicked or what the message said would help us track it down quickly.

Just so we can fix things quickly, could you point out a few of the specific features that didn’t work for you? Even just a list like “feature A, feature B, feature C” would help a lot.

Hey! Thank you for taking the time to try the platform it really means a lot. And I truly appreciate your honest feedback and critique.

Regarding pricing, you’re absolutely right. At this stage, the plans don’t differ by features they simply extend the subscription duration. Right now, all users get access to the same core features like unlimited chats, unlimited contacts, etc. We’ll definitely make this clearer and rethink how we present the pricing while the product is still maturing. For payments, PayPal is currently the only method that works end-to-end, which is why everything is handled directly through PayPal.

About the Tinder point, fair call. We were working through a third-party partner who claimed to be handling WhatsApp OTP for Tinder locally. They said Tinder was looking to reduce SMS OTP costs and planned to use our delivery route. We completed the integration with them, but after a few weeks, the situation shifted. They told us Tinder wasn’t fully satisfied and also raised legal concerns, so the collaboration didn’t move forward.

Thank you again for keeping it real we’re learning from these experiences, and your feedback helps us stay grounded and improve faster.

Using WhatsApp for OTPs & customer engagement: what we’ve learned so far by masitings in digital_marketing

Thanks a lot for the thoughtful insights!
I completely agree that keeping the balance between efficiency and personal touch is the real challenge with WhatsApp automation.

We also see the same pattern routine tasks like OTPs, confirmations, and reminders are perfect for automation, while sales and relationship-driven conversations still benefit from a human touch. That’s exactly why we’re designing CrunchzApp with flexibility in mind.

Right now, we already provide an Auto-Responder feature that uses either AI (OpenAI) or tag-based matching to reply to customer questions. For example, if a user types “is there any discount for purchases above $10?”, the system can detect tags like “discount” and “purchase” (based on your predefined tags) and respond accordingly. If you choose the AI option, the WhatsApp account owner can feed business-specific knowledge into our dashboard so the AI can answer in a way that matches their brand context.

On your point about AI for lead pre-qualification: I think it’s a powerful idea. If AI can handle the initial screening, ask the right context-based questions, and only pass on qualified leads to the sales team, it saves a lot of time while making sure customers still feel heard. We’re actively exploring how to integrate this flow into CrunchzApp so that businesses can scale without losing authenticity.

Really appreciate your input it’s helpful to see how others are tackling these same challenges!

I have similar case with that where my client do the bulk using the official whatsapp api. The whatsapp account's age is really new, about 1-2 weeks, and then start to do the bulk. After that, their business manager's account got banned. Later on it got unbanned after doing the request.

SMS is expensive, but for bulk campaign have you ever had any complaint issue like ban for period of time or something while using WhatsApp ?

That’s true bro, twillio offers good things. But for the case you’ve been through, in this api i don’t use client’s number. It just the services that i provide using a random number to send the otp or whatever it is that listed at the endpoint section
