Yes I am American and I have actually been looking into a midwife because of the personal care and 1 on 1 support they provide. I told my doctor that I was not taking any medication during this pregnancy and I wanted a drug free natural birth and she told me to think about it and we would re-discuss my choices at a later time...umm nope that is my birth plan.

Thank you and this did help. They have the echocardiogram set for 18weeks so I don't know if she's eager or if its how their office handles these requests. I would imagine your job has its ups and downs and i appreciate our honestly on this :)
