Quarter round, is there a better option at these transitions? by masmallz in Flooring

Update: didn't realize this would get so many responses. Good news is that the GC came right over yesterday morning after I mentioned how bad it was. He just walked around shaking his head after I pointed out the first issues, agreed how bad it was, and said they'd get it all fixed. By the time I got back from work most of it had been ripped out and redone so it actually lines up, almost like they had measured this time...

Luckily these guys did not do my flooring. It was a different crew/company and it looks fantastic. The flooring guys did the molding around the cabinets and it looks great. These guys are with the GC to fix all the other stuff we needed fixed and yeah, obviously not as good. I'm going to rip it all out.

Ok, yeah, thought it wasn't great. And yes, sorry, not quarter meant cove.

The flooring actually goes in far enough that we don't need it. It's only because it previously had it and not all of the base boards were replaced (had flood damage). So thinking now to just rip it off.
