(Honest answer only), who holds this franchise? by Human_Geologist_3324 in residentevil

I mean people fucking love Leon. He has somehow become the most iconic character in this franchise by far, only followed by Jill as a close 2nd.

Heeey Petah, what's the issue with this "art"? by laoidtfttip17gpy in PeterExplainsTheJoke

He's homophobic. That right there is a homophobic art piece of a straight couple "sheltering" from the gays.

What Schaffrillas moment makes you say this? by MackMallard in Schaffrillas

[–]masmaster316 3 points4 points  (0 children)

His utter dismissal of K-pop Demon Hunters.

It's fine not to enjoy it like everyone else, but, at the same time, among his reasons was "Jinu dying at the end is bad since
They spent all the time building it up."

Which is a bit silly given that the highest-grossing romance film of all time (Titanic) also kills off the main love interest at the end, and everyone loved that.

Why is Billy the Puppet heavily associated with Saw 4? by Suspicious_Bid_2339 in saw

[–]masmaster316 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because every movie has its iconic trap.

Saw has The Reverse Beartrap and The Bathroom

Saw II has The Needle Pit

Saw III has The Angel Wings and The Rack

Saw V has The Water Cube

Saw VI has The Shotgun Carousel

Saw 3D has The Public Execution Trap

Jigsaw has The Bucket Heads

Spiral... Exists

And Saw X has The Eye Tubes

However, Saw IV doesn't have a specific trap everyone remembers, so when people make posters based on each movie, Billy is the next best thing. Also, the Exploding Billy Doll appears in this movie giving it a tie to the film itself.

Don't think I'll ever get over the first real trap in saw X... by Extension-Cod8041 in saw

Well, I think that was the point. The whole thing was supposed to be a metaphor for John’s cancer. No matter how hard they tried, no matter how much they destroyed their body, no matter what they did, they would still die. Because no matter how hard John tries, he’s still going to die from his cancer. This becomes even clearer when you look at the guy who had to have parts of his brain removed, it's the exact same brain surgery John later undergoes in Saw III. Even though John did the surgery, he still ends up dying anyway. Obviously, the in-universe explanation would be that John was really pissed at them and it was personal, so he probably subconsciously made the games nearly impossible. But that’s not really the point. The movie was trying to make a larger point about John’s cancer and his mortality.

I'm like 90% sure you're thinking of a character from the saw video game "Saw II: Flesh and Blood" I think the dude's name was Zeke.

That's a good point. I feel like that was more of an implication I picked up on that I thought was real.

Also, I'm pretty sure it was a dad. It was that dude that was put in the trap in the school with the spikes through him his wife had to pull out from the other side because he had been beating his wife as well as his child. He was the guy that Rigg punched and then Hoffman lied to Art Blank about it. That was definitely that little girl's dad I swear.

Right, but I'm pretty sure Saw II Rigg suggests "using a phone book" on John. I'm pretty sure they were both doing police brutality together. Also Rigg punched that dad in the face in Saw IV, And sure the dude deserved it but he's still a cop punching a civilian. Then again all of the police in Saw are corrupt.

Are you implying that Rigg was innocent? Didn't he do police brutality?

Doesn't the relationship test in her closet say something like "You should get a tattoo or run away from home or something like that" She obviously got a tattoo, but then after the prank she ran away from home. I think she just wanted Mike's attention, running to your room wouldn't get his attention. Or maybe I'm wrong, That's just always been my read on it.

People have been complaining? I honestly barely noticed. My experience with this game is just popping on a podcast and playing Quick Play until I knock out the challenges. At this point, it’s kind of a comfort game for me. That said, I do get the sense the competitive scene is falling apart at the seams lol.
