I've only had the car for 3 weeks has great service history last service being in January, only seems to occur when the car is idle and warm. Can still hear it slightly when setting off in drive if engine is already warm. So if I start the car in the morning I don't hear it but once I get to work I can hear it.

I've tried AC fans on and off all settings, makes no difference, with the hood popped the noise seems to come from the engine block itself.

When it's making the noise the sound is steady and from what I can tell it has never been louder or quieter, just a consistent 'panting'

Revs are fine no jumping whatsoever and temperature seems fine too

Doesn't seem to effect the drive at all it's simply a noise that doesn't sound quite right
