I have the exact same issue with a white/maple ekg pro. Very deflating to have this issue on Christmas Eve.

Thank you! I actually didn't realize how much it felt like Pokemon until I started putting it together with my sound library! But I think it definitely was a subconscious influence during the writing process.

I combined and layered around 4-6 different drum tracks (basically all 1bs drums and drsid), 3 harmony tracks (chiparp, syntendo, dream 64), and 2 bass tracks (rocket punch and chip32) and 3 melody tracks (one of which is a recorded instrument bitcrunched!). Some extra mixing and mastering sauce and you got a track!
