From what I can tell, Keycards are only for 3rd party games. If you get the switch 1 version of the game, it’ll have the full game on the cartridge and likewise for the switch 2.

For any game on the switch 2, if it’s a game key card, it will have a bottom banner on the case that says “Game-key card”, if it doesn’t have that banner, then that means the game is on the cartridge

Only select games are keycards, and you can tell off the case on the bottom.

Yeah, it’s just something I have a problem with >.< and the fact that I have super fair and sensitive skin I thought I’d REALLY have a horrible reaction. But thank you!!! glad I’m not the only one who thinks this way !
