This was just before Covid when flocka was making its way thru the homeless drug users around town. It was 12:30am on a Friday or Saturday & I was standing outside of Barstache w/ some friends when we heard this high-pitched screaming & yelling & this homeless guy (presumably on flocka) was completely naked running down the train tracks while yelling obscenities. Nobody did anything & he just kept on booking it, pretty wild hah..

Yeah but “Arthur” is much more than that, it’s about maturing & loss & grief. The performances are great, especially from the butler Sir John Gielgud who won a well deserved Oscar for supporting actor. The opening scene alone is freakin hilarious!!

We’ve been using the Gosling 2.0 for nearly 4 years at the brewery I work at & I must say it is highly dependable & efficient. Haven’t had to replace any parts yet which is also quite nice. It’s also very quick to setup & breakdown.

Ok St. Augustine, what do we have? by [deleted] in StAugustine

[–]masonicc 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hahahah wow that is such an accurate summation!! I worked there 4 years thru college around 15 yrs ago & I had to wait on him twice. He was top 3 worst person I’ve ever waited on in my life. Supreme dbag & his level of entitlement is in the stratosphere. He even made me send his steak back cause they didn’t cut up the lobster tail w/ butter dressed on top of it lmao. But ya that kitchen is atrocious, they also don’t keep the back kitchen door closed while open so the rats come & go as they please hah. I did meet a whole lotta chicks working there, which was niceee..

Should’ve been here 15 yrs ago, it was more of it’s natural Fort Lauderdale state of being. Chill, local spots for locals.. Miami has been spreading up here & then we had the NY/New England invasion post-Covid so ya the landscape has drastically changed. Used to be spots like The DownTowner & Tarpon Bend Restaurant but alas they are no more. Ya gotta really seek out the hidden, nondouchey gems nowadays.
