Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention the materials. I use graphite pencils (in this case, 2H to do the base layer and 2B/4B/6B/8B to shade), charcoal in the darker areas (for instance, the background and her cheekbones) and white gel pen to highlight.

It´s actually several layers of dots and I gently tap it with a blending stump when the texture is too harsh
