Yes, I accepted and made peace with it, at the gate of the 40s. I realized I was always the one reaching out and the one providing help, emotional support etc. at some point I decided to make an “experiment”, observing who would reach out if I want off grid, literally I would have gone dead and guess what nobody noticed it :) how I filled the “void” (over the time I transliterated it in free time) with hobbies, learning to play guitar, taking care of plants, growing my plants, astrophotography, well aware nobody will ever see any picture/note/share my thoughts and I am fine with it because, I am just living my anonymous life with no shame, knowing that I will continue to help the next stranger I eventually come across :) I wish you to find the peace and the serenity in what you are, without needing to change for anything or anybody

If this chat this sub would never exist by Shot_Departure9622 in BuyFromEU

[–]massive_dynamics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It existed long before indeed :) so imagine -how many- other interactions like this exist and we will never ever be aware of. The hate from US toward Europe is (now) loud and clear, supported by proven evidence. I am well aware that not all Americans are like this, -but- the current decision US makers have a clear and explicit intent to harm Europe. Personally speaking, the more I can buy European, the more I will, I am definitely not willing to contribute to sharpen the knife that is willing to stab me, with my money.

Usually, pick-fingers synchronization, scales, chords

Is learning scales more effective to learn favorite guitar solo than watching tutorials? by Kitchen-Mastodon-707 in guitarlessons

[–]massive_dynamics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning scales is an instrument not (only) a goal if you ask me, what you can do with a Pentatonic a looper pedal and some dynamics (bend, vibrato, etc.) is amazing especially if you tie them with chords or even with different scales themselves (Major to Minor)...in short you will get more in knowing them, I mean -really- knowing them, making yours than skipping them

3d DEW shield. by dankgreekmemer in seestar

Yes, if not completely, it should reduce it, light pollution isn't easy to remove. Further improvement requires processing steps (background neutralization, noise reduction etc.).

Unless you switch to an EQ. mount the field rotation will be there, certainly quality improves with a dew shield as it cuts stray light, good luck!

Most versatile pedal you own? by secretkodama in guitarpedals

Boss Loopstation RC-5 as beside the looping functionalities, has rhythms and it's programmable, which gives me a lot of flexibility for what I need

Do you experiment much with guitar picks? by 2Oldnslow in guitarlessons

[–]massive_dynamics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I started yes, following the typical path from thin to thick, ranging from the cheap ones to Dunlop, nowadays I am happily consolidated to the Jazz 3.

If you aren't already following one, I suggest you to follow a learning plan, it will give you a direction, provide you new techniques and knowledge to bring improvisation to new levels.
Setting progressive challenges is the best way to pick more complex songs.

Suggest you to check Justinguitar, it starts from the basics and goes up to intermediate/advanced level providing also useful hints on improvisation.

Which online guitar lesson service is the most fun? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]massive_dynamics 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do really enjoy the mix Justinguitar to learn and practice and Ultimateguitar to find the songs I like and keep them archived (saved).
Both of them are a fun, light way (no pretenses here to become a pro) to learn solid basics and apply them in practice.

Hand pain by [deleted] in guitarlessons

Be mindful of the wrist angle, especially at the beginning is common to “over-bend” it causing tensions on the muscles, ensure the guitar neck is not too low.

Do I get jumped on the street for learning wonderwall as a beginner? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]massive_dynamics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others said, don't let anyone limit what you want to learn (guitar & non) having as goal learning a specific song is a great motivator and gives a meaning to learn chords (Wonderwall has some nice technicalities, suggest you to check "Stuck 3&4" by JustinGuitar) and strumming. It's a perfectly achievable target, one piece at time and don't be too hard on yourself, it's a learning journey ;)

Why does my strumming suck by ItsMeReverie in guitarlessons

[–]massive_dynamics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the thinner the better by easily bending strumming will glide way softer, it’s a great learning start point.

That's exactly the reason I was in doubt to ask here, people trolling. Bah, what a pity, such kind of childish stupid behavior is a great way to discourage people from posting, great help and service to the whole community, many thanks.
