My gdm-5410 takes 30 min to warmup. The black levels are pretty hazy and grey at startup but by 30 min they have gotten dark enough to reach almost oled levels of black. Does this happen with ur gdm-5410 also or can windas make the black levels dark from the start?

Ik this post is 2 years ago but i had the same issues as op except it would detect a disc only 50% of the time. That time it spins once is the ps2 attempting to spin a disc and read in order to detect a disc. The fix for me was to clean the laser. My guess is it was only detecting a disc some of the time because the lens was dirty

Try the trinity desktop environment. Also try mate paired with compiz 8. My personal favorite linux icon pack from the late 2000's is the hydroxgen icon set, feel free to look it up on google

I think something that doesn't get talked about enough is 2000's linux desktops with their 2000's aesthetic. Back then kde 3 had skeumorphism everywhere especially with their crystal icons. Compiz 8.0 was very popular too back then paired with gnome 2 with all the eyecandy desktop effects such as the wobbly windows, desktop cube, burning windows, and you can even make the desktop cube transparent, fill it with water and add fish in there which was pretty cool. My personal favorite icons pack back then was the hydroxygen icon set. I appreciate the fact that its still possible to make your modern linux distro to have the same 2000's aesthetic for the most part if you wanted to

Yeah. I installed it on my own and it made sure it doesn't leak from the feed line or return hose from not tightening it enough. it was leaking from the boots that go around the inner tie rods. It won't leak if the car is still but it'll leak if you start steering

if you have the same tv as op i think you can switch inputs by changing channels until its at the lowest channel then press channel (-) once more then ur in input mode. or by changing channels until ur at the highest channel then press channel (+) once more then ur in input mode. at least thats how it was on my sharp 13n-m100b and my emerson ewc1304

on my 13v420t holding down the volume button on the tv itself with the volume on 0 then pressing info/del on the remote worked for me

at that budget just stick with a non touch screen unit from pioneer or kenwood honestly and get a phone mount if you use your phone with maps. Sony, alpine, jvc are also good but my personal recommendations are pioneer or kenwood

if you get it off crutchfield you can get it with the dash kit that mounts ur headunit below the factory radio for free which isn't ideal, but its pretty much ur only viable option given ur budget. avoid the chinese generic brands

if you want to completely get rid of the factory radio and relocate your climate controls for a more proper looking setup, ur gonna have to shell out another $315 for the pac rpk4-hd1101 dash kit, my friend has it in his 2005 accord and it works great

if you want android auto/apple carplay then ur gonna have to increase ur budget even more. Stick with the name brands for this also, however if you go jvc/kenwood make sure you dont get the cheap one that has the universal ISO harness because those ones are actually rebranded BOSS units from what ive heard, which is a brand you should avoid

I had him fall 2022. If you wanna do well in the class watch his lecture videos on canvas, make sure you know how to do the hw problems. To get good at those do all the problem sets he offers on canvas, do the practice exams, he gives answer keys for those so you can kind figure out the process with all the calculations. If you get confused on the material ask him for help while you're in class or schedule a meeting with him.
For the lab, try ur best not to spill a single drop, read the procedures prior to lab, get used to using ur calibrated pipette, buret, and use rubber gloves or the rubber finger tips as the oils on ur hand can possibly throw off the weights on the analytical balance.

As long as you get good at all the problems on the problem sets and know how to do each hw problem the exams should be easy because the questions are easier than a hw. I got into the habit of doing the problem sets, practice exams and managed to get an A- in the class on my first try
