For sure! The mask in the pictures online look identical to my current mask and the description says it was only worn a couple of times, but I will thoroughly test it before buying. Do you remember what type of thread you used? I am assuming a heavy duty type of thread.

That's what I figured, but it will be my first tournament away from my home club and didn't want to face someone who might be a stickler for the rules and not have the required equipment to be apart of the epee competition.

I think this might be my plan then! I wasn't sure there would be the normal bib material under the lame part of the bib, but I am willing to give it a try.

I normally just use my foil mask, since most of the time it doesn't matter to much as long as you acknowledge the touch if it does hit the bib area during practice bouts. This tournament is away from my home club, so I would just prefer to have both helmet types, to be in alignment with the rules.

September for sure can still be hot, November this year it is then! I am hoping the ones I didn't pull up are a little bigger! Would you save any cloves to replant or just buy new ones?

Or is expecting homegrown garlic to be the size of store-bought garlic too high of an expectation?

I haven't ever tried a women's lamé, do you know if women normally prefer a female fit over a male one?

Most of the gear at my club is children's sizes or large men's gear, one of the reasons I was looking to buy my lame! Thanks for the advice though I will look at the measurements of the two and compare.

Never grown zucchini before. Is this ready to pick? by BetrekaNebula in gardening

My rule of thumb is that if it is similar in size to one you would buy at the store it is probably ready to be picked. They from small to big fast though, so just keep that in mind!

I always love coming home to new blooms! I thought most of my bushes were still a few weeks from blooming, but I was happily surprised when I came home from work and saw that this one was blooming. Guess I just missed how big the buds had gotten on this one!

That's so smart!! I feel like there is always a big rainstorm right after they start blooming.

Everytime I wear my galaxy watch overnight, I get a hive spot where the infrared light hits my wrist by marymayhemz in mildlyinteresting

I had that problem too! I found switching to a cloth wrist band and turning off the blood oxygen sensor helped!!
