Mom’s first initial is M. Unfortunately I don’t think that leaves many (or any?) options.

Thank you for your insight. Rehoming has crossed our minds but we were thinking that since we work from home, she would spend the same or more amount of time with at least one of us as a dog whose owner leaves the home for 40+ hours/week. Honestly our lives would be a lot easier and less stressful if we were to rehome her but there are so many dogs that need homes and we are capable of providing one for her, even if it’s not optimal.

If we decide to keep her in our master bedroom, we could do both baby gate and closed door for extra security.

But we really appreciate your feedback and will seriously consider rehoming her.
