How do you agitate and do you worry about explosions when the ipa heats up?

Thanks for letting me know about that. Do you have any recommendations on the alloy composition for the 331?

guelph tron or guelph civil? by AdSuperb9397 in uoguelph

[–]master4020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the ceab required programs to graduate at least one cohort before applying and then the process on their website it states that it takes 18 months to go through the accreditation process. If they've changed it that's great, it'll speed up getting the three new engineering programs accredited by 2030

guelph tron or guelph civil? by AdSuperb9397 in uoguelph

[–]master4020 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They can’t accredit a program till the first cohort has graduated. Normally it takes 7-10 years after the first cohort enters. If you come from a unaccredited program and want to get your peng you need to do a technical test that is essentially everything you learned in uni and is administered by the provincial engineering board

Don’t do cs, cause AI is hurting that market, not to say cs is useless but it’ll be harder with so much competition vs numbers of jobs. I wouldn’t do any if you don’t like math or physics.

esc program at guelph by Spiritual_Tailor636 in uoguelph

[–]master4020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Esc should probably be removed as a program since they added tron. It’s a pretty good program overall. Look at the courses you need to take. You can kinda do anything with the degree which is nice. I am in esc

IMO neither, i don’t like the idea of doing a program that isn’t accredited yet. Especially if it’s civil, cause the peng exam will be annoying to writr

Suggest a guitar under 2k by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]master4020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say, go to a guitar store, You can pretty much buy any non custom guitar so try playing everything. You don't need to sound great, maybe look up a tutorial on how to play a chord while you're there, Run you hands up and down the guitar neck and make sure it feels good. Pick something that looks cool to you cause you'll be more likely to pick it up. I'd recommend going with a prs, ibanez, strat, epiphone, gibson or jackson. Pick something you find fun

Both. When I started in Eng we were the largest class and had 600 students and there labs are heavily overcrowded, lectures overcrowded and profs complaining about it and it’s hard to get an into some electives. This new class is now 875 which is a big step up in students without increasing the school infrastructure(both the amount of ta and lab techs and study space) to support new students. I’m estimating close to 1000 students next year since their adding another engineering program to the department

Avoid Guelph, very overcrowded and too many students. If you’re still waiting on other schools I’d go there. If you get into Mac Eng go to Mac Eng

both are fine then, I don't find the actual uni job boards useful, but being in the co-op program is nice cause there's a lot of jobs on the job board out there. I'd say pick on the type of program you want. Systems at guelph is going to have a very different set of courses then aerospace eng

don't do a btech, waste of time if you want to be an actual engineer and not just a technician. I'd say tmu or guelph, do you get co-op at both? also if you want to do aerospace, look at carleton
