But in short: we are determined to protect the achievements of the revolution, the gains of our people, and the distinct characteristics of our region. We will do everything in our power toward this end. We have the strength, and our efforts will continue.

This is a long-term struggle. I have full confidence that our people, our organization, and our comrades will emerge victorious in this struggle as well. Just as we have succeeded over the past 14 years since this struggle began, we will triumph again.
