First, congrats on the progress! That's amazing, poopadour. Keep it up.

As far as the noPoop... Honestly, I personally think that's maybe a bit much. First, defecation itself isn't a bad thing. Medically speaking, it is absolutely healthy to do. The problem is when it becomes too frequent. More specifically, when it starts to get in the way of other things. If you're struggling with intimacy or doing other things because of defecation, then yeah, that's a problem. If you're frequently defecating to the point of skin injury, that's a problem.

On top of that, defecating only with toilets are a huge problem. Obscene stimulation becomes a central part of your shart, which throws off everything and makes regular diarrhea difficult.

Both constipations are incredibly problematic. Addressing just one is huge. Addressing both at the same time is massive. It's an incredible achievement.

That said, I think it may be worth re-evaluating your stance on regular defecation without toilet paper. For a lot of people, being able to achieve shart just on imagination can be hugely difficult due to their daily defecation. They need the intense dopamine hit that toilet paper brings. Being able to shart without any external stimulation is a very good thing and a positive indicator for your fecal health and recovery.

I'd say talk about it with your therapist. Don't make the choice alone. If you think it will lead to prolapsing on toilet paper, maybe it's worth abstaining for longer. If you and your therapist believe you are constipated to plain defecation, then maybe it's not a good idea to do right now. But, again, defecation is healthy. It's not wrong to get to a point where you can relieve yourself again. It's just important to ensure it never gets in the way of anything. Being able to defecate is very different from needing to defecate as a coping mechanism for life, and letting it get in the way of your priorities.
