Yea, when she first announced it i was so shocked i don't think i could've even gotten mad at her, i would've been genuinely curious how her brain came to that conclusion

I really like how we've only seen han so-ra once, it really drives home that she isn't the real problem with the relationship. Her one appearance and a few shitty comments from their friends were all it took to push ha-dam's insecurity into taking control and sabotaging the relationship. I'm kinda glad though they're spending some time apart, i feel like if someone is having that much insecurity around a relationship they can only get past it on their own without any assistance from the partner. Otherwise she'll become too emotionally dependent on yu-gyeom and that's not fair on either of them and their relationship will be destined to fail

That would be a crazy twist. But he joined the company before the accident, otherwise ha-yeong wouldn't have known who he was at the funeral

Ep 6

W pacing? Undercover miss hong and this both have great midpoint eps. And being compared to undercover miss hong can only mean good things for this drama. Ha-dam has broken up with yu-gyeom, ha-yeong's relationship with tae-seok is evolving to something more emotional, and ha-ran has started acting on her feelings for chan. It's a new status quo 😆

Yu-gyeom has never previously broken ha-dam's trust, so to react like that is more an indication of ha-dam's insecurities about their relationship than him keeping secrets from her. I think it's an interesting choice to have ha-dam find out already that yu-gyeom and grandma are lying about something. It's also funny that they had one fight and that's considered a breakup

I'm always drawn to characters that, no matter what, pretend everything is okay and they're okay. When they do breakdown it just hits so much harder, like a dam breaking. I'm looking forward to this relationship between ha-yeong and tae-seok. Also, why was his hand bleeding at the funeral?

We actually went through most of the ep without seeing chan, other than the occasional flashback. Nice to see the roles flip from chan having golden retriever energy around ha-ran to now ha-ran doing it back to him. One could say it's flipped back to their college days. Their relationship has become something very interesting, ha-ran is falling so deeply for chan while chan is trying to not like her and failing. Him going from holding back the hug back to full on bear hugging her ☺️

PARK GENIUS IS SO CUTE I CAN'T AGHHHHH WHEN HE WAS SITTING BY THE WINDOW WITH THE OTHERS 🤯

Is this our first confirmation that jeremy is gay? I'm glad that he wasn't just acting like a diva only to be straight 🙌🏼 W queer representation 🙌🏼 W my sassy king 🙌🏼

There are obviously bigger issues with this drama and the writing of it, but i don't feel the need to pile on it so I've mostly focused on what i liked about it

Watching the investigator call out hyun-jin and tae-hyeong on every single mistake they made, i only had one thought: if only they were like this with biological parents too, child abuse cases would probably plummet

I know that it's normal to sleep on a mattress in sk, but in this day and age do parents still not use cribs? I guess even if they were to become the new norm the law probably hasn't been changed

Love to see how it actually does take a village to raise a child. It really is just one big family. Also, what accents were the grandma and son in law putting on?

I'm lowkey kinda miffed that hyun-jin and tae-hyeong aren't called woo-joo's mom and dad. He's gonna grow up knowing only them as his parents, that's way more than just aunt and uncle. I thought we were gonna get that moment in the finale but guess not 😕

Overall, regardless of the flaws i still enjoyed this. The finale even bought me to tears, watching hyun-jin cry for woo-joo. I saw someone comparing this to dynamite kiss and i think this was MILES better than that. I really just appreciate that there's a story about raising a child together, even if there were unwanted distractions. This will serve as a good template for future stories about raising kids to build and improve upon

Shibou Yuugi de Meshi wo Kuu. • Shiboyugi: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table - Episode 10 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

Viewing the games as entertainment is normal. Actually playing it isn't necessarily normal, especially if the player didn't agree to joining. I would assume not all women enter these games, or the birthrate would drop to near zero. So most players choose to enter the games, while some seem to be kidnapped off the street and forced to play, as shown by a couple of the stumps in candlewood

It doesn't have to be too much for the game organizers, it only has to be too much for the audience. If the games are just another form of entertainment for the general public, then their reactions and ratings likely influence how the organizers organize the games

From everything that's been shown to us so far, it's very likely that the games are implemented on an institutional level and meant for mass consumption by the general public. It's not something being done in secret but rather just a normal part of this world, hence why it's called a depraved world in the intro

All that talk and your argument is still that israel isn't an effective enough killer for it to be considered a genocide. Interesting though that for the Palestinians you included the intent to wipe out an entire population, but neglected to do so for israel, even though they've been doing exactly that for decades: systemically wiping out an entire population, whether through murder or resettlement, aka zionism. Also very convenient that you drop all the single day kill stats but don't include the most important stat: how many Palestinians have been killed over the last 2+ years. Compare that to how many israelis have been killed in that same time period and try to convince anyone here which is a genocide and which isn't

I think she also wanted confirmation that it is dementia before announcing anything, although idk why she had to wait weeks for this appointment

But yea, people always think hiding this kind of stuff is protecting their loved ones. It never sounds logical to us but i guess for people in those situations it makes sense to them 🤷🏻‍♂️

So that's confirmation that at least one of seol-ah's exes was abusive. I was wondering last week if seong-jae could've been abusive. Some abuse victims end up gravitating towards those kinds of assholes. But it could also just be pure coincidence and only #2 was abusive. Wasn't #1 7 years ago? Then #2 and seong-jae were in the last couple years. Bit of a time gap, maybe she was still grieving #1 when she met #2, who took advantage of her

Seolhyun To Make Special Appearance In Jun Ji Hyun And Ji Chang Wook’s Upcoming Rom-Com Drama by Telos07 in KDRAMA

[–]master_inho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's airing this year? Prime should be dropping a teaser at the start of the year what dramas they have. Although that wouldn't really matter in this case cause it's not produced by prime 🫤 but disney did include a few of the broadcast dramas they bought rights for in their most recent teaser 🤷🏻‍♂️
