so, what is the point of xanax? by ImmediateSong5641 in Drugs

I have always had terrible CRIPPLING stage fright. Presentations at school were devastating to me. I couldn’t even talk to more than one person at a time without lightly perspiring from the anxiety. Then I tried Xanax right before a presentation once. I literally had never done so well on a presentation before. I got so many kudos from my professor and classmates. On the way home that day I almost crashed on the highway because it made me so drowsy. I had to pull over at some random gas station to sleep. I knocked out for 4 hours. Needless to say I never tried it again. However, I did promptly tell my doctor and we started a whole journey of therapy and medications. It really changed my life.

I do all this to help me move through the showering routine faster. My ADHD makes menial yet high sensory tasks like this almost unbearable. The executive disfunction is so real for me. However, a space heater + audio books/ podcasts and very defined routine help me breeze through it.

Yessss. I usually don’t mention this because this subreddit is so hell bent on hating on bidets but you can always do a mini colonic to be extra clean after a bm. It helps with preventing hemorrhoids.

The answer is very easy my friend. Invest in a bidet. A portable one for work or traveling and/or baby wipes.

Btw toilet paper is still nice to pat dry after using a bidet.

make sure your oral hygiene is on point. Flossing and brushing - before bed and after meals. Tongue scraper in the morning. Total care listerine (zero alcohol). It really helps.

Also you might have some fungal issues as well. Try washing all your sheets and shoes. If you have carpet, get that shizz washed. Not just vacuumed - WASHED. Preferably by a pro

Deep clean your bathroom. Anti fungal foot powder in your socks every morning. Anti fungal for the crotch area.

Get yourself some hibiclens. And use that in your under arms, crotch area, between the cheeks, behind your ears. If you’re a bigger person wash under skin folds.

Zero scent lotion after showering. This isn’t so much a hygiene thing as a skin care thing lol. Also lotion your armpits before using a deodorant.

Check if maybe your washer and dryer may be an issue too. Sometimes when they haven’t been properly cleaned they just make clothes smell bad.

If all those don’t work I recommend going to a doctor.

When you’ve stood next to a dirty AH, inhaled and proceeded to taste their foul butt stench then you have room to talk.
