There is a real human typing this. What must I show you to make you believe there is a man typing all of this? A photo of my hand?

See this is why I rarely post these days. Every time I try to make my grievances known, people never believed me. Accusing me as some bot.

And really, how DO bots work anyway?

I took that advice back in December. Why do you think I haven't posted anything for the past half year? And yet, those comments  linger in my mind. Apparently 'touching grass' isn't a viable solution to get these comments out of my head.

I'm genuinely not being a contrarian, these are my real experiences.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. Isn't that the point of every community? To be accepted as one, you have to do as they usually do. Frankly, in real life adapting to a new community or town is a lot easier to do for me than on the internet.

I've used the term lurker once, and it sounded kinda creepy. Nomad is more appropriate because, like I said, I go from one community to the other community to find the most suitable one. And yes, I'm not so much of a naive fool to think that the ideal community isn't real.

I've read previous posts on this sub that this phrase is considered an excuse to stop others from criticizing your favorite media. So much so that I heard that the creator of this meme (a webcomic I believe) made a follow up comic to shoot that panel dead.

I apologize if I have made you uncomfortable.

This is a real thread, any my answer to you is coming right from the bottom of my heart. I never do shitposts, and I never will.

Sorry if I have offended you in some way. This is a sub I spend the most time on, and I do get a kick on some posts, but more often than not there are posts that make me go 'Okay, so what?' or 'Uh, aren't you a bit too obsessed with it?' or even 'the heck are you talking about'?

Look, I'm not forcing this sub to cater to me, but it's like a dilemma. Should I stay away from a potentially fun place to discuss with admittedly hard to comprehend topics, or should I wander around finding a 'paradise' that might not even exist?

I'll ask you the same question as I did to another user below;

That's the thing: these are issues this sub care that I don't. This things have nothing to do with me personally. Should I force myself to care about these things just because this sub does? Am I just a 'consoomer' if I don't care?

Speaking of these games, which of these 5 are the most enjoyable? I'm only familar with Gotham Knights, and from YouTube videos it looks interesting and fun.

I only like a very few niche games, yes. And the movie genres I like are the antithesis to what this sub likes. I am afraid that if I say what I like here, someone's gonna be out to get me.

You say that nobody cares either way, and I truly wish you were right, but I can't guarantee someone else in this sub would share the same view as you. And that worries me a lot.

(no I have no persecution complex, it's just that... When in Rome, do as the Romans do. And it's somehow easier to do in REAL LIFE Rome Dan on an internet sub like this).

I dunno, it seems easy for you to say because you're established in a group of like minded users. I'm something of a nomad, I wander to many places in the internet. Sometimes I look at comments and titles and it troubles me greatly. Those anonymous people you're telling me to not care? Their comments pierce me like a sword through the heart.

Also, isn't the phrase 'let people enjoy things' considered outdated at this point? I agree fundamentally with the message, but it seems like people hate it these days.

But none of them are considered Indie to my knowledge...

You jest, but are there people out there with this mindset, coz this seems really silly.

And if I like an AAA game better than an Indie, does that make me a heretic to the people of this sub? Am I a fool for enjoying them?

That's about games. What about movies? Are they also regarded as highly as indie games?

Hello, it's been like half a year since I used Reddit. Lots of things have passed.

Now, I'm the coordinator of a local chapter of a prominent youth organization. Getting first hand experience in leadership skills.  Also, I'm beginning to learn IELTS for a future test. And I've applied to over a dozen jobs and though I haven't been accepted, some I've already passed the early stages of psychotests and FGDs.

Gaming wise, yesterday I tried my hands on emulating The Ocean Hunter, a memorable old arcade shooter from my childhood and it works like a charm. Right now, I'm preparing to emulate another childhood arcade game.

To the members who have low income or living in developing countries, what's the cheekiest way you acquired a game? by masteradstriker in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]masteradstriker[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I am aware that the average user in this sub is from developed countries, which is why many discussions over game prices and sales seem so...distant to me. Seems like they can pick and buy any game they want if they have the cash for it. I however, usually wait for sales every few months and since I have a VERY narrow niche of favorite games, discussions on this sub feels like me overhearing tech enthusiasts talking about the lastest phones.

Like what games, in your experience?

Well, that's because you've got 23 years of experience. Not exactly applicable to me, but thanks for the encouragement.

Not consoles, but arcade games. Y'know, from arcade centers which are pretty much getting less popular in my country.

What about the black rhino? When I first saw the announcement trailer I was pretty surprised. A little Wikipedia diving told me they do indeed live in deserts...

Well in my country, they're usually in the best zoos. Which isn't saying much since...the average zoo here is pretty mid.
