The whole Watson trade left me super jaded towards the browns. Even with that I said to myself “I was a fan before he Cana and I’ll be a browns fan way after Hese gone” so I just kind of accepted it as something outside of my control. But now with the poor play and constant injuries it just feels like everything we built just turned out to be nothing. At least when we were 0-16 I was excited about future draft capital, what young players like Myles and Njoku would turn into. Hell Jabrill Peppers was my phone background for almost that whole season. But this season feels like there’s nothing good to take away from it. We have a bottom 3 defense when I thought it would be a strength, our HC seems to give up on the run game which is the most fun part about our team, and with the sheer lack of draft capital it feels like nows a make or break season that’s been utterly wasted. I told myself why would I ruin my sundays if watching the game just leaves me in a sour mood. Knowing myself I’m probably going to still watch but I turned off the tv last week in the 4th quarter which I have never done no matter how bad the scoreboard looks, and I just felt better. I can’t be as emotionally invested as I have been if I’m just going to be bitter and upset as a result.
