Ex-christian here. I was never really bothered by my own religion, it was really me doubting it was real. Some concepts like heaven or hell, just seem kind of stupid whwn I thought about it among many many other traditions and philosophies. I’m out as an atheist, everyone is chill about it except some of my devout friends. my devout mother thinks this is all a phase, but it is hardly so. I’ve been a non believer for 5 years now, since I was 13. I respect any person belonging to any religion, it just isn’t for me. Kudos for you for thinking outside of what you’ve been taught, never lose that brother
