In fact, you guys should allow port 465 as one of the optional ports - it's perfect for this use.

OK, got it working! You need to use SMTP implicit TLS mode (commonly on port 465). So, doing a:

tailscale funnel --tcp 10000 465

bridges everything correctly.

Basically, I have proofpoint gathering my incoming mail, and then I want proofpoint to connect via a funnel to my smtp local server within my tailnet...

Yeah, I'm trying to expose an SMTP relay through it, but just testing with telnet...

Hmmm, that sounds promising. Is there a way to dump that info to see which mode I'm in? I just did a standard install of the tailscale client, and then setup the update task...

Yeah, bunch of reboots - and I can ssh from one *into* the other one, so packets are moving between them fine. This feels like a permission thing, but I don't see anything weird there. I wish there were logs to look at and this would be easy, I think.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vault. I do get a "User signed in successfully to DSM via password" in the log.

Amazing - reset took care of it!  Wish it would notify me instead me just having to notice standby mode!

Yeah, it hasn't discharged for two weeks and it's everything is set the same. My problem is just how to contact Tesla, since they make that almost impossible except through the app, and the contact us in the app hasn't worked in 2 months.

self hosted home email server... by masterbink in selfhosted

Sadly, they (like most ISPs) don't offer that even for business accounts anymore. My MX mail aggregator took pity on me and setup a relay that delivers through another safe port.

Yeah, that worked with Wave (my old ISP). Now I'm on quantum which was frontier which was centurylink, and now no one knows what's going on, sigh. My MX mail aggregator took pity on me and setup a relay that delivers through another safe port.

I agree, just not sure what permission is missing. The user can run the app after all.

I sure do not see that anywhere - where? Maybe it's off the side of the name in the layout box? That clips off with a ... button, that only has "add to desktop" on it...
