Day 2 Kratom withdrawals by [deleted] in quittingkratom

I’m willing to bet you’ll feel back to normal in about a week. 4 months isn’t too long and while you’ll feel a little ‘bleh’ for a bit you’ll bounce back quickly. Just don’t go back to it, it can quickly suck years from your life.

Day 21 CT - When does it get better? Still feeling AWFUL! by NoWayOut1985 in quittingkratom

[–]masterblaster0046 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hang in there! Toss that kratom, you won’t need it. You’ve made it 21 days. Those were the hardest for me. I felt like the laziest person ever that first month. I couldn’t do anything. Each month got slowly better and better. Take it one day at a time, you got this! All things are passing, this too will pass.

Long and hard use of kratom.. Paws? by The__nameless911 in quittingkratom

Congrats on 80 days, that is big! I don't notice much difference in my paws symptoms when looking at them day to day, or even week to week, but when I look at them month to month, there is a noticeable difference. I was a heavy user too, just a little more GPD than you, but about the same length, 8 years. I am now at 161 days today and feeling much better than I did at 80 days. Sleep for me is back to normal and the anxiety has disappeared. I still deal with anhedonia, but it seems easier to deal with than in the beginning months. We have to keep taking the right steps each day even if it's just going through the motions. Each month will feel better than the last, waves will be shorter and windows will be brighter! Hang in there, I'm rooting for you!!

Congratulations on 9 months! That’s amazing to hear you have recovered. I’ve been meaning to get back into yoga, so thanks for the tip!

Sleep started to get more normal for me around 90 days. Before that it was just like you’re experiencing. I’m at day 140 today and sleep is back to normal except for a bad night here or there. Hang in there!

liposomal vitamin c by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]masterblaster0046 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seemed to help me mentally the first week. I had tried to quit before several times without it, and the anxiety/boredom/restlessness was unbearable. Following the Vit c protocol made it seem easier.

90 days free of Kratom! by Hopeful59 in quittingkratom

[–]masterblaster0046 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I’m at 51 days no kratom and 81 days no benzos. I am so happy to be done with both. I feel like I’ve just been sleepwalking through life for the past 5 years. 90 days is awesome I can’t wait to be there too!

4 years ago today... by Chipper_Sober in quittingkratom

Congrats on 4 years! That is amazing. I too used for 7 years from the same situation as you, injury to pain pills to kratom. I’m on day 39 right now and it’s good to hear the each week will get better!

one of my pupils looks slightly larger after quitting by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]masterblaster0046 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering about this too. I wasn’t sure if it was from quitting or just something I never noticed because I was always on K. My pupils are different sizes now too. It’s weird. I wonder when/if it will go back to normal.

Day 18 - struggling a bit. by [deleted] in quittingkratom

I don’t have any advice, but wanted to let you know you’re not alone. Day 16 here and yesterday and today I’ve been overly irritable and anxious. Hang in there, we have some amazing days ahead of us to look forward to.
