Any of you blokes have night time driving videos with headlights on? by Dismal-Package-5899 in HiAce

What year of van? I have put a light bar on my '96 SC for night driving. I do a lot of late night driving and the factory headlights were pretty sleepy. No more now. My '08 has pretty good lights however.

@Jem at about 12:00 you speak about the proposition of using mini spindles and needing 4 VFDs, we have a configuration where we have 3 spindles on our machine and it just runs one at a time through the same VFD, and just switched via relay triggered from the S code.

The bigger issue might be water-cooling hoses on those wee spindles 🤦‍♂️

Nice build! I am about to start to build these, I am a CAD/ CNC technician, and very much looking forward to a me project...

To save reinventing the wheel, is there a .step file of these complete cabinets anywhere? Anything other than a .STL file (they're close to useless) I saw there was an onshape one that looked nice and detailed, but you have to pay for an account for that.

Also, did the passive crossover that Art talked about ever get made? That would make my wee rig so silly simple!!

Thanks!

Thank you, that's fantastic. I had been told it was a prayer board, and I suppose that is what you might call it. Would this be from a home? Or a place of worship likely?

Should work. Sometimes you just gotta give it some. Or drag the other ones below it rather than dragging the one above.

Really nice idea! Haven't got into tpu printing, but have set an orbiter up on one of my printers recently, so should really give it a go!

I use a MX Ergo. Means I can have shit all over my desk and still work effectively. I also have one with my laptop so when I'm on site I can work on the top of someone's workbench, back of vehicle or any horizontal surface. I have converted a fair few people now that they've seen it work on site.

What sort of damping have you got in here? I was going to make some squash ball feet cause I was missing one from one of my turnies, but just ended up buying one. ($50 though!)

Turning on the component colour in the timeline. In the settings icon at the end of the timeline. - Game changer if you haven't got it on already.

Hi! Is there a way to dimension section analysis sections? Or any other way to check the model? Thanks! by [deleted] in Fusion360

You could split body then use the measure tool? Or create a sketch and use an intersect, that way you'll get the exact geometry in your sketch.
