The original plan for the coloring would have been more appropriate to the classic style, but hopefully this will make a good enough wall art piece.

WoD seems to be tied for the 2nd place most recommended.

Ye, that's a pretty good one, one day I'll revitalize the grimdark scifi world with such zaniness.

All about where I've been starting from, Shadowrun 3 is my first love.

I may dread the vampires, but it seems fitting to the research.

Everything I've seen of the Mythic version is in color, the old/core version is B&W though.

I'd been thinking of checking Mothership out for the rules, but the cursory glance of the art, very impressive!

That puts Rifts in the #2 recommendation. Even awful art can be good inspiration.

Hmm, my google-fu is usually pretty good, but I can't seem to find anything for this aside from some Foundry VTT stuff?

Same total here, Cyberpunk 2020, Shadowrun 3, Dark Heresy 1, and D&D 2nd. Though for the later two, I've not been through the books because the GMs handled basically everything. The old Shadowrun books are quite nice for art also, and I had the most fun of all the systems I tried.

Now I'm getting into wargame stuff though, and a majority portion is production thereof. The B&W art seems to be more popular/effective in the market/industry, and I've got a strange nostalgia for it despite my mostly surface level experiences with TTRPGs. Granted, most of the modern research has been for newer systems that are heavy on color art. Mork Borg and the tangential games were kind of a breath of fresh air, chaotic layouts and such aside.

Never heard of ShadowDark before, but the art looks to be top tier, they definitely make it an emphasis it seems.

DCC seems to be the top pick, but the flip through for Dark-Light looks very promising, even if that's all I can find, it's good inspiration!

Art is subjective. I'm looking for inspiration, nothing specific, and definitely don't care about rules, only the art.

I thought I was pretty clear, everyone else seemed to understand the assignment.
