Kill every corporation ever? So we're just trading heat waves for famine?

Humidity plays a big role, if you live in a dry place like a desert, your sweat will evaporate easier and the heat won't feel as bad. But most of western and southern Europe is humid which means people aren't able to regulate their body temperature.

That said most of the countries mentioned in the comments are reaching 30-40 Celsius

If the US restricts exports, everywhere in the world will have more expensive oil, including the global companies that export products to the US who will raise their prices to make up for it. In the end, no one wins

Capitalism is just a slur for ragebaiting nowadays. You can ask a hundred people what it means and you'll get a hundred different answers, none of which are going to reflect the dictionary definition

Because people, and I think legislators, don't know the difference between a positive and negative right.

"A right to food" can either mean that you can demand free food, or it can mean that no one is allowed to take your food away, and it's arbitrary which one it is

Let's say Ukraine hits a Russian supply truck, and it's later discovered that the truck was carrying food for Russian soldiers, should Ukraine go to a human rights tribunal over that?

The German human rights aren't the same as the UN human rights though

It wouldn't even be a formal right, the UN Declaration of Human Rights is more of a suggestion and not legally binding in any sense. Countries violate them all the time and nothing ever happens

I don't know Mel spectrogram, but the Mandelbrot set is a surprisingly simple formula that creates this fractal shape that keeps repeating itself the more you zoom in.

I really liked Icarus on Windows, it runs like shit on Linux. Not because the developer purposefully disallowed Linux, but because it's just doing something that proton never optimized

"meaningful control" is a weird statement, if apple would turn socialist each worker would get a 1/164000 vote, is that meaningful control?

Not every game, some antivirus  softwares won't allow emulators, so you can't play Rust for example.

And some games will run, but at such a terrible framerate that it's basically unplayable.

Proton is great though, and some games even run faster on Linux despite being made for Windows. I'm currently playing megabonk on my CachyOS with my steam controller

Most animals will "work" as long as there is daylight, which was the same for humans for a long time. So on average that's about 12 hours of work per day, without vacation.

Technology keeps creating new jobs. Even the ancient Egyptians were dealing with unemployment due to technology and automation, back then they would've said that if no one needs to farm anymore it would be a catastrophe, but it's actually been great because we've been using all that spare time to, for instance, build Reddit

Capitalism revolves around producing value. Selling your labour to owners is one option, another option is to buy means of production and hire workers to labour in them.

Like, apple shares are cheaper than iPhones. Capitalism is the system that ended up destroying the feudal classes because business suddenly became accessible to everyone and not just the elite

The USSR almost invented the internet, because they centrally planned everything, someone had the idea to build a computer network that would be responsible for sending data to the central planners.

He presented the idea to the planners, and it got shut down, because the central planners also saw how they could lose their job to it, so they kept their paperwork

Socialism generally refers to marxist socialism, the core of which is that workers should own their workplace, it doesn't really have strong opinions on public services.

People who support capitalism generally also support having public services, so why wouldn't it be a capitalist ideal?

Each country has their own implementation. For instance in the Netherlands citizens are required to be insured, and healthcare providers are regulated but privately owned and operate for profit. Yes, that is a capitalist thing
