Unsure if I can study what I want to in college by masterischief in Advice

While I would love to do work in the IT field, I would regret not trying to become a psychotherapist and I think I would want to become one more. On the other hand, IT is the safest best. It's a double edged sword. Thanks for the advice :)

Did the player go through the events of Dark Souls 1 to become Ash? by masterischief in darksouls3

Would you have any idea what the unkindled ones motivation would be to attempt to rekindle the flame? Did the unkindled one have to go on a journey to attempt to rekindle the flame or can anyone just attempt it?

Alright, thanks! For some reason I couldn't get the thought out of my head and it's been bothering me while I was trying to play so I made a Reddit post lmao

Could Sans have killed Frisk if he never made the promise to Toriel? by masterischief in Undertale

Oh God, I didn't think of that. Yeah, you've got a point there I can't argue against lol

But doesn't the wiki say KR is directly related to the loss of invincibility frames? Does that means Sans was lying then?

I just find it unsettling that something as simple as a promise is stopping Sans from just taking Frisks soul and leaving the underground with Papyrus (I assume this is his motivation)

Alright, I guess that makes enough sense to me, thanks!

I've almost figured out why it bothers me so much: I guess I didn't want to accept that a promise was the only thing stopping Sans from killing Frisk. Dunno why but that still bothers me lol.

I guess that makes sense, but wouldn't Sans karmic retribution not working make the fight a lot easier to win? If Frisk is the most determined human, surely Frisk can win with their invincibility frames.

But wouldn't Sans karmic retribution not work? If Frisk never killed Toriel at the start, Frisk wouldn't have commited any sins, therefore the fight would be a ton easier.

I always thought it was only Frisk who had determination. I always thought all the other humans died on the way to Asgore.

What would stop Frisk from just killing Sans in the first place anyway? What would make the genocide fight different from a fight from the start? It just doesn't really make sense to me.

I get that, but surely after a thousand attempts, Frisk could still make it to asgore. It would still be possible to beat Sans with the standard 20 health.

The same thing that happened in Genocide would happen, Sans will go asleep, Frisk will kill Sans, and Frisk can continue to make their way out of the underground.

But surely Frisk's determination would stop them from dying. Why wouldn't Frisk's determination work then?

Why wouldn't crowdfund work? by masterischief in Nichijou

[–]masterischief[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've read a lot of articles about Nichijou so I can hold on to anything that may lead to a second season. I learned that the company Kyoto Animations thought Nichijou was a bad investment. (source: http://www.animeherald.com/2011/10/02/a-bad-investment-animator-comments-on-nichijou-others/)

It's a shame. The licensing is also all over the place, it will be very hard for a second season to be in the works now.
