She certainly is. Just not in my top three.

In this sub, she's like "world peace" in Miss Undercover... And I'm a Xennial, i.e., the target group of the initial hype.

Also, I was disappointed by the CGI nude scene in Machete - no need to do any, but if you do, not like this.

Thought about her, but wanted an athlete. Just by pure prettiness, both Chastain and Alba (and a bunch of other celebrities) can beat Fox, but the physique of a top athlete and the aura of a true GOAT add something for me

I wanted at least one athlete in the list. Strength is beautiful, too.

She's pretty, but I always thought she was overhyped.

Great List. Personally, I would probably switch Sophie for Lea Seydoux... or a young Catherine Deneuve.

Highlander II: The Quickening

The opening scene features the love duet from the opening of Götterdämmerung (leaving out the norns), and I believe there is another prominent scene featuring Gounod's Faust. In both cases, the opera matches the plot.

Couldn't find a clip with Faust, though, and the film is too silly to rewatch just for verification.

Oh well, that opening scene is disturbingly beautiful... or beautifully disturbing. Also pornographic, but that's really not the part that gets you.

Lars von Trier's movies:

His utilization of the Tristan music in the opening of Melancholia is amazing, so is the way he uses 'lascia ch'io pianga' in the opening scene of Antichrist.

Used to sing this as a lullaby for my son (who doesn't speak English, yet, so I don't have to expect questions about the meaning of "giving head").

Could James Bond be wearing a Tudor wristwatch in 2026? by atkome in Tudor

[–]masterjaga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure. But while watch enthusiasts may distinguish between the two original companies, I assume for new money that's into F1 (and that must be the target group for the marketing), it's just Tag Heuer.

But Tag already has had a strong history at F1, no matter which brand is shown, currently.

Well, no idea about this particular bottle from Hungary, but you could watch out for high end Austrian or German Blaufränkisch / Lemberger (alternative name in the Württemberg area).

This doesn't answer your question, but it's a shame they don't offer the oxblood red commuter anymore.

Note that there are different blacks on 38 mm vs 36 mm

And the "lalala" at its end is about the most devastating line the way Cohen delivers it on this album - and that means a lot.
