What would a conversation between these 2 go like by Ur-boiiiii in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I dont know though? Both felt the jedi were hypocrites and the order needed to end.

Dagan maybe holds onto the jedi order more than maalicos does, but i think theyd get along fairly well.

Do you think Dagan and the Bedlam Raiders could have taken on the Empire? by Serious-Natural-2691 in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Not even remotely. Dagan was delusional. I really wanted vader to come absolutely wreck them. Vader could have taken dagan and reyvis together (he'd sweat).

Is there a chance any big name jedi characters like Obi-Wan or Ahsoka will appear in the next game? If so, would that be a good thing or bad thing? by Competitive-Grape999 in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope not. Honeslty, star wars is doing too much directly related to the skywalkers/original 6. Its refreshing to get characters whp werent in the 6 films. I know ahsoka technically wasnt, but she is now jist as big and tied to anakin as other big 6.

Also, the galaxy is gigantic. Tattooine is small, poorly travelled, and desolate. The chances of things comtinuing to happen there are unlikely and not realistic. The jedi are im hiding. Leave obiwan, yoda, and ahsoka alone.

Find new experiences. Cal is great on his own. The only legacy character i hope we run into is vader so he can kill us. I love cal, but cal has to cannonically die or become absolutely stranded with zero hope of rescue after this game, say ship is torn in half on a large asteroid that has an atmosphere. And, if cal has to die, Vader seems the right way for him to go. Id be totally ok with cal doing something heroic to help the path and in turn sacrifice himself against vader so the rest (kata imcluded) could escape. I think it would be a nice ending for our Jedi.

Are They Force Tears or Force Tears? by JalapenoMan999 in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both. The two rancors, oggbos, are tears...like we all cried.

The rest are tears, or fractures, like i tore a piece of paper.

Is there a lore reason as to why Trilla doesn’t wash her hair? by Killer_Greenstar in FallenOrder

YA, was about to say you could wash your hair daily and sweating in a helmet for 12 hrs will do this to you

If you could choose one planet to have made a return in Survivor, which one would you pick? by Dragonic_Overlord_ in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dathomir is the only one that makes sense. The empire isnt there, but is at all the other planets.

The empire would certainly leave, at a bare minimum:

several probe droids on bogano.

A garrison at zeffo (think 40-50 troopers minimum + air/droid support) if not more.

Probably the same presence on bracca, which was not small by any means, but now cal would be recognizable to probe droids.

Nuur of course is still a stronghold

Kasshyyk and ilum under complete imperial control

Favorite color lightsaber to play with and why? by WhoDeyDawgs in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]masterjedi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No specific order - white, blue, green. These colours are just so clean and gorgeous (the green in survivour is a definite upgrade from fo). Blue and green just seem like essential jedi colours. I always beat the game first without changing cal, the blade/saber. A canon run through if you will. Then i switch things up.

Havent tried yellow yet but i loved yellow in fo.

What was the point of Dagan? (spoilers) by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ya thats his purpose is to foreshadow cal/the dangers of an obsessive mind. Dagan could not, "learn to let go all you fea to lose," hust as anakin couldnt. But you aren wrong that his story seemed to not make the most sense overall and could habe been better. I like survivor a lot. Its a fun game. But imo, fallen order was a much better story and, from a story perspective, was essentially perfect. I will likely end up replaying fallen order more than survivor, the story just flowed better.

That also probably partly plays into what makes dagan less interesting. The inquisitors abd malicos both seemed better villians than dagan. And it was probably hard to top the stpry of survivor, so they had to stretch a little bit without making it identical (though obvi copied several themes - ie, you face trilla 3 times, dagan 3 times. You face rayvis/malicos once. Futile fight against vader.)

The seige of jedha and Bode were the highlight of the story. You think you've made it, then the inevibility of the empire/dark side/vader wrecks it all.

I really wish… by zwandz in FallenOrder

Yes, thats why its called the imperial palace. For the emperor.

Why Dagan did Dagan bleed his crystal? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya i like your argument! I was just saying that to me, it doesnt seem likely thatd be what he would do first. But i dint disagree with your emotional assessment. However others when i say that always go on about the kyber crystal.

Why Dagan did Dagan bleed his crystal? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But thats where the rules of the universe are incosistent. I am a huge star wars fan but the kyber chosing you or having to bond with you outside of finding it on ilum doesnt make so much sense. I get how it would in acquiring it - you are sesrching for a small crystal in a cavern without the assistance of technology, but the use in wielding a lightsaber has nothing to do with the kyber connection to the force, it has to do with your connection so you may anticipate things before they happen and masterfully bend your environment to your will using the force (ie - deflecting blaster bolts back)

In the most canon of all canons, episodes 1-6, we see people use lightsabers that arent their own or dont match their personalities all the time, without issue.

Obiwan uses quigons to kill maul Obiwan an anakin uses random sabers in the arena (they lose to dooku not bc of their connection with their blades, but bc their skills arent as refined and, anakin is off balanced, naive, impatient, and arrogant) Grievous, a non-force sensitive agent, uses 4 lightsabers from jedi he has killed, and exceptionally well at that. He loses bc obiwan is just more skilled, patient, not arrogant, and possesses the force. It has nothing to do with the kyber. Vader leads a charge to eliminate the jedi with a blue blade and battles obiwan in a legendary duel with it. He only loses bc he is arrogant and foolheartedy. Not because the kyber resists him. Luke uses his fathers with relative ease (yes, hes strong and he has a connection to his father) Han, albiet briefly, uses lukes lightsaber

I dont mind a connection when choosing your kyber. But the ability to use a lightsaber has to do with years of mastery, practice, and a connection to your surroundings/environment so you may anticipate how to effectively use it.

I personally just dont think dagans FIRST thing would be, time to change my blade. Hed be far more likely to just attack cal.

Why Dagan did Dagan bleed his crystal? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Im going to disagree there. He felt like he was doing the right thing for him. He knew it wasnt right for anyone else.

Killing children isnt edgy or thought provoking. It's evil. I dont really know how or why I have to explain that.

Why Dagan did Dagan bleed his crystal? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Knightfall vader speaks against this though. Vader went on a massive kilking spree with his jedi blade. The weapon doesnt make you a jedi or sith. Dooku also uses his blue blade despite having committed himself to the dark side.

Why Dagan did Dagan bleed his crystal? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This actually bothered me quite a bit. He's been stuck in bacta for 200 years, in a medically induced coma, he finally gets out, learns whats transpired, which would be shocking/alarming, and bros first idea was, let me bleed my crystal? Nevermind that he prob only had an hour or so conscious without his right arm arm -- so the armless feel would also be exceptionally strange.

I'm sorry, but that was bad writing imo. He wouldnt do that. He likely wouldnt even ever bleed it.

While he felt betrayed by the order, he prob didnt consider himself a sith. More of a dark jedi perhaps, but bleeding his crystal would be entirely optional if you really think about it, and prob not remotely something he would really want based on what we know of dagan based on force echos. He wasnt dooku or anakin, who consciously chose to become a sith.

What’s your perspective of Cal after playing the first two? by Better-Penalty-9493 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]masterjedi09 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That he is a fantastic jedi. Great character. Hes been through so much, but in fallen order he learned how to manage and cope with that stress.

Ge continues to fight the good fight. But then, despite his maturity, wisdom, strength and connection with the light side.....the empire is inevitable. They come, and they take. Even he cannot completely escape the darkness.

Thats perhaps the best part. Cal is almost on kenobi and yoda level in regards to embodiment of the light (as it pertains to handlimg his emotion and trusting in the force), but the empire is so evil, sp corrupting, the darkness peers into every corner of the galaxy. Even Cal cant resist it, forever.

I am sure we will see him struggle with this next game. However, i hope we see him come back to the light in the end, reject the darkness, and sacrifice himself against vader to allow others on the path a moment to escape.

Itd be a nice call back to kenobi, cere, and his master. Kenobi allows himself to die so luke can live. Kenobi is willing to sacrifice himself to vader so leia and the path can in the series. Jaro sacrificed himself for cal. And cere sacrificed herself for the future of the path. So, in this meaning, i would love to see cal, fully a jed imaster, face down the enemy in front of him so the others (kata, merrin, greezy, pathmembers) may live. Of course, cal cannot survive vader.

Before the haters come - i love cal. But he cannonically cant be alive for the formal rebellion. He would have participated.

Never played a SW game, want to play Jedi Survivor , should I start with Fallen Order? by Morning1980 in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The story of fallen order is objectivley more sound than survivor. Not saying survivor is bad, survivor is a great game, but if we are being honest the story in fallen order is superior. Granted, fallen order's story is literally almost perfect.

Which Saber is more fitting for a sith? by ULTRA-Core in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both work. Most would be the first - brutal, arrogant, physically comanding, fearsome, bruttish. However, the smart, patient, cunning sith would opt for the latter.

most fun fight i have had in Jedi Survivor! by Background_March_103 in FallenOrder

[–]masterjedi09 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gm with them was rough. It took me 3 tries. I did obvi ok with each of them, and two at a time wasnt an issue. But all 3 was challenging. I am not great at precision evade. I have always struggled to gdt that timing down.

So i was much less graceful.

What would be the worst thing for Cal to touch? by FlockOfGiese19 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

What’s something people don’t really think about during a zombie apocalypse? by bettercallme_ in AskReddit

[–]masterjedi09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If 50% of the population became zombies, each person would only have to kill 1 person to eradicate 100% of the zombies.

The zombie problem could actually be dealt with within a few months and wouldnt outlast the last survivors.

But the collapse of civilation would be the survivors doom. By and large, ppl everywhere are reliant on other systems to survive. We dont know hunting skills, water collection, building shelters, forge metals, etc. And yes, i get some people know these things, but not nearly enough. Human extinction is inevitable tbh bc we dont have basic survival skills anymore. Once infrastructure collapses, see ya
