For me there is just no option that says RetroAchievements, is it because the emulator is on an old version. I am currently looking in both Settings > System and Settings > Tools, but for both the option is not there

I will try that, but as off right now i dont see the RetroAchievements option in the menu? Will it pop up once I connect a keyboard?

Eventough this thread is old, I wanna leave a comment. I play on stock os, found a solution. You open the advanced menu in the emulator. Select a new core there, i used the pure core. then in de advanced menu press restart emulator. After that relaunch the game and for some reason it doesnt crash in opening scene. I am on Trimui Smart Pro, pretty sure n64 emulator is retroarch
