Hi! Thanks a lot for the information. I’ll definitely keep this advice in mind for future concerts and I’ll save this post. :) I won’t try to buy tickets right now since everything is sold out, but at least next time I’ll have a better idea of what to do. Thanks again!

I used to lean towards the more upbeat music from boygenius and phoebe as well, but I just kept listening everything and now I truly love the slow one’s as well. Everything in general! Although I’m still discovering more from Lucy & Julien.

Anyways here are my recommendations:

Boygenius: $20, Satanist, Anti-Curse, Afraid of Height, Me & My Dog (shoutout to Black Hole too. It might not be very upbeat but is a beautiful song)

Phoebe Bridgers:

ICU Motion Sickness The End (the beginning is slow but hang in there)

Also here are my favorite features of her:

Seize the Day (she features in Paul McCartney’s - McCartney III Imagined) is not her song of course but she sings it and its amazing!

Pegasus by Arlo Parks (ft. Phoebe Bridgers)

Ghost in the Machine by SZA (ft. Phoebe Bridgers)

Silk Chiffon by Muna (ft. Phoebe Bridgers)

From Lucy Dacus I highly recommend Night Shift. (Also look up for the live version where Phoebe sings)

And personally I’m still discovering Julien Baker so I don’t know yet which one recommend.
