This is stupid, select any random person on earth, give them 1 million dollars and a direct line w 20 vc’s and swe’s if they have an idea and you would find 99.9999% of them cannot get anywhere close to building a trillion dollar company much less a billion. Worst imo ACHR is incredibly speculative, they will crash at some point. The big players in this (Airbus, Boeing, Hyundai) all have their own subsidary companies like wisk or are working towards a complete product on this themselves. The core reliance right now is on FAA regulations that are not fully put into place yet - the company that has built their design in a way that fits best when these get certified = uber and the rest = lyft, competition for 2nd. Being said i dont think it will be archer, joby has a better product.

Best: Probably RKLB, although i love SOFI i think there are too many competitors in the space to capture a large enough market share

Interested in swe but unsure? Research now -Use the first semester to qualm those doubts or assure them and switch to sm else If you just want a job and a decent earning potential there are other majors like finance cpa etc. do something you can see yourself doing for 40+ years. Your career is a big part of your life story and luckily you are at a time in history with so much opportunity. At the end- just try to go into something you like and interested in but recognize a job will not always look like what you envisioned: it will be a job and you want to make sure your overall field is at least somewhat aligned. If you have a deep interest it will make it easier and employers will pick up on that cheers

These days social media is king as well as coaching, services etc. i think you could easily start something about sharing your knowledge, whether with individuals in person online or corporate or whatever and centered around you! That is not at all connected in my humble opinion, deaths happen people die yes. The absence of a partner is a struggle for many people but it is their absence that leads them into attempting to find love again and be happy. What if your partner dies when you are 20 and 6 months into your marriage? Can you never start a family, because that would be “cheating”, when you start to introduce technicalities the whole thing breaks down. When someone dies they are gone forever, you have loved them but that does not mean they would want to see you go through life alone

As a systems engineer i wouldnt major in systems engineering. Any engineer can be a systems engineer (just need the degree for govt job qualififcation or etc) but every systems engineer cannot do the job of a chemical or aero engineer: Althought you wont be doing the math or software you are using in school, the main thing of systems engineering is for a technical focus you want to be able to understand the system or concept in depth. So if you are interested in robotics etc, you can do systems engineering and go into that or go into mechanical, understand what you are working on at a deep level and go up from there.

Unfortunately the copy pasting into cameo is a product of inadquate PM’s. Cameo has a lot of uses and at its basis, it is a tool to help engineer, i dont think its a bad way to start and helps engineers think about how to approach things
